Big fan to the LawTrades squad - we've used their service on several occasions. As a founder, I often have the feeling of "sh*t, maybe I should have a lawyer look at this..." LawTrades has always been there to help out. Slack is the perfect place to access their platform. Big ups! #AlleyFam = too strong

Great to see LawTrades on PH! They made my legal process really easy — like seriously, incredibly easy. The team was super helpful too, their support is amazing.
I've been recommending it to anyone who asks me for a referral to a lawyer. Keep on crushing it guys, your product is amazing!

The legal industry is due a big disruption... things like these bots may be a good step in the right direction. BUT people tend to want legal advice from firms/people they know/trust/have recommendations from.
I think it would be interesting to see a company that allows others from different firms be available in a similar situation. Not saying anything against LawTrades but my family has been in the legal business for a long time and it's reputation is everything.
Also clients like to be on the phone/sit with their legal advisors on a lot of things too.
I do think legal bots will see something awesome evolve in the next few years so keen to see how this goes :)
@bentossell Legal is due massive disruption. It blows my mind how antiquated it is. Most of our attorneys on Lawtrades all have big law experience or in house general counsel experience, they just happen to run their own independent practices now. Quality in legal matters more than anything so we spend A LOT of time vetting attorneys.
Whilst this is bang on trend (assistant / slack) - the webpage is really not inviting.. That black background is stark and not welcoming. Their main website is far more inviting..
@ichillidesign hey Craig, thanks for the feedback. We started with SMS and worked out pretty well for us. Since the industry is so advice driven, building on top of messaging platforms made more sense than making you download yet another app that you'll probably use a few times a year
Just got around to testing this feature, and it's excellent. Though now I want this for our clients! Gonna have to get someone to develop it.
@eli_s_kami Check out Birdly! They might be able to help. Bench is pretty good also, but they aren't on slack yet.

I'm a huge LawTrades fan, so I'm excited to see them expanding to other communication mediums. I was introduced to the SMS-based service via Product Hunt and we've used them for lots of startup law tasks over the last several months. Looking forward to bringing them into our Slack workflow.

LawTrades services are a game changer for startups. The service is excellent. The service team and attorneys are very responsive. On a scale of 1-5 (low-high), I would rank these services as a seven!
