@jan_ber Thank you, but I clearly understand that there is also a serious challenge in the good implementation of such an idea. No wonder the "big players" do not make such a visual style. So far, our idea is the core around which the project is being built. And we will try to do the best we can!

Yes, Figma Jam is our target prototype, only we will strongly develop visual design with an exit to task statuses. And our goal is to create the most "lazy" system. In which it does everything itself and you only choose options! And we need ambassadors and advisers - let's be friends)

@antonsutarmin By geo in the US in a very famous dada-center. But the Layer also allows you to export everything to your PC. Did you manage to use the keyboard to create block tasks like a cannonball?

Congrats on your launch! I love your tagline of being inspired by how the brain works. I am curious - what are the main ways you have incorporated that next to the mind-map like branching of points?
@alexanderfarr In general, the idea of the organization arose at the moment when I was managing the launch of three IT products. And my brain was literally boiling. We are planning to implement many tools for visually balancing the map with their release into tasks. You can now try clicking on the 3rd icon at the top left - inside the board with blocks. If you have blocks with the status "today" then the layer will delete everything and put only them on the boards. Perhaps I answered very confusingly? )))))

Very cool @vit_aver, will definitely try this out! Always wanted a second brain tool. I used to use Notion database to organise this for myself.
On Notion, i could set deadlines and configure formulas to bring up priority tasks at the top of my database. Wondering if Layers can do the same?
Also, does it offer a timeline view?
@angadsingh059 You've hit the nail on the head! In our roadmap, we want to create "number" statuses for blocks, and then they'll be able to stack values. But not all at once. I'm also very inspired by the Notion product - and partly a fan of it. But - when a project gets big, it's very difficult to share it with the team, and someone might break something! Another problem with N - for us was the price when we grew a little. We understand their problems today - funds are really putting pressure on us to make the subscription price high. And we want to ideologically make a super-affordable product. Maybe the Product Hunt community will tell us what's best!
@angadsingh059 In short: we’re working on adding formula blocks (that’s a definite), and a timeline feature is on the horizon too. The challenge lies in handling nested trees effectively—we’ve got ideas but need a passionate UX pro on the team to bring it to life!

“natural thought processes” is really key here. I was asking myself how different it would be from other organization tools, but being able to visualize tasks in a more natural way is truly interesting. Thank you for your hard work and congrats on the launch! 🎉

i prefer tasks as cards and not a blockchain. and why should i use this instead of miro, give me 7 reasons
@maxcompe 1. Layer is faster - in Miro you draw, in Layer you type!
2. In Miro you need then transfer it to tasks, in Layer blocks are already tasks!
3. We will also have Kanban view in the next updates (in Miro it will never be - you have to draw it yourself)!
4. If you are a successful manager, then in the future you will expand your team and Miro will become an expensive solution!
5. In Layer, the map structure makes you move towards the goal, and in Miro you draw as you want, and lose focus!
6. Layer will work on the W3 system and motivate you with real rewards for teamwork, in Miro this will never happen!
