@theological Thank you! We are working to make leaf compatible with other frequently used apps so that it can be a collection of all of your most important audio memories. This is a great idea and we will definitely see what is possible!
@theological Hi Theo, quick update that the latest version (published in the app store yesterday) allows you to send voice notes from Telegram and other communication apps into leaf. Let me know what you think!
Congratulations Team Leaf on your successful launch on Producthunt! Love how your app allows people to privately capture and share moments using audio, it's a fantastic idea for those who might shy away from cameras. On that note, have you considered adding a feature that can transcribe the audio recordings? It could be useful to revert back without listening to the entire audio. Once again, kudos on the launch!
@manmohit Thanks for your note! Yes! All recordings are automatically transcribed (we transcribe across 30+ languages) so you can definitely read instead of listen to the entire conversation if that's your preference. We are also working on transcript summaries so you can quickly gather the key takeaways -- we've found this to be useful for long recordings.
I currently use Google Photos for this.
I record pictures and videos and everything is uploaded to the cloud.

@kingromstar Thanks for the question Rami! leaf is all about audio and capturing stories (not videos/photos). There is something extremely powerful about the voice because it changes so quickly (especially with kids). Hearing a loved one’s voice even a few days after a recording is gratifying, but listening to it years down the road and being able to share with future generations is truly special.

Congrats on the launch! The Instant Recording feature is a game-changer for me, especially when I'm quickly just trying to capture a silly moment with my toddler.
