Seems super cool. How would you use it? Like hard to know where to start.
Nikita
@joshdance There are some tips on how to use it in the sidebar if you click the burger menu on top right. There is also more info in the GitHub repo : https://github.com/nikitavoloboe... Hope you like it. :)
Andy Chiang
So awesome :D
Jeremy Meyer
Fantastic. I hope to see this become something like an open source Khan Academy.
Simon Paitrault
amazing stuff and pretty accurate for now.

Could it be you have technical difficulties? Tried loading the site in chrome, FF & IE but it doesn't show a mindmap on this url: https://learn-anything.xyz/progr...
Nikita
@poehah That's strange. Chrome and Firefox should work 100 %. Not sure about IE as we have not tested it.
Maarten Belmans
@nikitavoloboev I figured out it was my ad blocker on Chrome. None of the javascript/css was loaded for the website. After I whitelisted it, all was well :-)
Sabri Helal
wasn't this already posted two months ago? https://www.producthunt.com/post...
Nikita
@sabrisjourney We posted the original MindNode maps but not the search engine as it was not built then. Now we actually have a search engine over that Knowledge Map which is really powerful and is open source.

Wow! Slick!

We hope you will like the website. Our goal is to provide the most efficient paths for learning any topic on Earth, curated and moderated by a community of people. There is a video introduction you can watch that goes over all the main features of the website : https://youtu.be/_zYjS2Uicso Everything is open source too, both the website and all the maps. 🎊

Love it! I had a similar "mind-mapping" idea and everyone thought I was crazyβ€”glad you built it :)
Abhishek Jain
This is a nice idea and a very good implementation. I am sure you guys are still adding more content. Looking forward to it.
Federico Rodriguez Llull
This is pretty cool Guys, how to vote and edit the maps? We would like to add a small FRETX Section there.
Nikita
@federico_rodriguez_llull Currently you can edit maps by clicking on the orange button with the πŸ¦„ and editing JSON itself. We will make it a lot easier in the future though with a live editor. :)

This is super useful , thanks @nglgzz @nikitavoloboev
Marta
this is super cool, thank you for making it!
Erick Barron
Would be cool to add pictures or.icoms next to the categories
Nikita
@erickbarron86 What do you mean? We already have emojis next to all nodes that signify where the node leads to.

I'd personally prefer, if there's no result available, to be offered to search the keyword on scholar.google.com Way better option than duckduckgo imo.
Nikita
@akashcmc In the future, we can allow to customise where the fallback leads to. So you can set Google Scholar as your fallback.

This is neat, very neat! πŸ€“ I can definitely see this as a more visual based alternative to informative resources like Wikipedia. My feedback would be to incorporate bit-sized information per level of information you're interacting with. This could provide context to items you might not know the pretext of. It could also add that additional fun factor to it if its an AI chat bot who communicates with you while you're delving deeper into the mindmaps. I think this is a wonderful idea, especially for neat freak people like me who prefer to consume information in a visual and organized manner. Never give me more than I need or ask for. 🀀 Please keep working on it as it has great potential. It wouldnt hurt to make the UI a bit more modernist although I can appreciats the contemporary style as well. Great job guys and good luck with the launch! πŸŽ‰πŸŽŠπŸŽˆ

This is an amazing concept. I hope more content will be added to it as time progresses.
Helen Larsen
Good idea! An interface is simple and convenient. The only disadvantage I see is a limited list of topics. I couldn't find the information crowdfunding, geography and countries, history.
Valentijn v/den Hout
This is an amazing product! I love the simplicity of it. πŸ’— Is it possible to create these types of "webs" for myself? This would allow me to aggregate the resources I use for a particular topic, something I now try to accomplish using bookmarksfolders... πŸ˜‘ Again, great job! πŸ‘

It looks really great! Don't you plan to add a functionality with creating private maps?
