This is exactly what I need in my life! I have no pictures on my walls due to my inability to ever get one hung straight even with tools but this would remove that issue altogether! Can’t wait for these to be funded so I can at least appear like I’m adulting a little bit in regard to home appearance.
@zaleska_nordhoff check out his original Levitate Hanger on Kickstarter. He failed to produce the goods and is supposedly running this campaign to finish what he started.
@derek_wiltshire yea it was explained on the indiegogo page, but with patents and molds and such I feel like it’s worth the risk for something that would be really great to own. The way I see it is if it were to turn out to be a scam then this would be my one and only time backing a project in such a situation but if it isn’t a scam then I helped another project become a reality which is a big part of why I like backing projects to begin with as helping individuals instead gigantic companies important in my opinion.
@derek_wiltshire@zaleska_nordhoff Thank you so much. I've been doing really hard work. People don't know what it's like and they just say scam because of some problems on the way. I'm doing my best. Thank you for the support.
@zaleska_nordhoff I've been doing really hard work. Why would you do that and try ruining it. it's not a scam. I'm doing my best. You can find me anywhere (Facebook, twitter, IG, email, company etc. why would I do that and have all my info public like that?)
Please please don't say negative things just to kill something that can work so well.
My only concern is it appears we are replacing anchors, wires, and screws with adhesive. I didn't see anything in the material that discusses the limitations of the adhesive. Does the wall have to be perfectly flat? What if my wall is textured? Does a textured wall affect my ability to hang a heavier frame?
@brent_killinger 1. The adhesive is limited to its environment. It is not our adhesive so these answers can be found in more detail at the adhesive's company. However, yes, just like any adhesive you have to have a clean surface so that it won't stick to particles that are not your wall.
2. There could actually be texture on the wall but not drastically in a way that parts of the adhesive won't attach to them. It has to make ses. The adhesive is not thick but should be good for most walls. After all it's 3M's adhesive, not ours.
3. For sentimental and expensive pieces I would suggest using the holes we made specifically for that reason - to be more secured EVEN if the adhesives are the best in the world, it's good to have extra security.
The idea is great - and it seems to solve most of my problems putting things to the wall - starting with Hue bridge an ending with simple pictures on crystal back.
