Hi ProductHunt, Karri (CEO) from Linear here. When we founded Linear back in 2019, we had a simple mission: To empower the world’s best product and engineering teams to do their best work. Frustrated by our own experience using sub-par tools, we set out to build something better. Something that teams would actually enjoy using. Built with startups in mind, we started with a simple but powerful issue tracker. Since then, Linear has evolved into something more. We don’t think of it as a better “tool” to build software. We think of it as a better “way” to build software. From bug tracking to roadmap planning, it provides fluid workflows across the entire product development process. From the teams that build with Linear are many of the products you know and love. Arc is reinventing the browser. Zora is building protocols for NFT marketplaces. Pitch is crafting the next generation presentation tool. They are joined by thousands of other ambitious startups who build with Linear to bring their own unique ideas to life. Many of our early users, however, are not startups anymore. Mercury and Loom have grown to become multi-billion dollar companies. Retool and Ramp have scaled to teams of hundreds of engineers and designers. And we scaled Linear with them. At the same time, a wave of large, established companies has started to question the status quo. Fed up with slow and bloated legacy tools of the past, they are migrating their teams over to Linear. CashApp, Vercel, and OpenSea are just a few of the enterprises that have chosen Linear to build better and ship faster. Our focus this year has been to make this scalability possible. We added new project planning functionalities like improved roadmaps and project updates. We are introducing a variety of reporting and analytics features. And we shipped dozens of under-the-hood improvements including enterprise-grade security and the latest version of our powerful Sync Engine. The result is this release. I’d love for you to take a look and let us know what you think! -Karri
