@rrhoover Hey Ryan, the Business product has a comprehensive analytical engine (consumer version has not). Team administrator can view insights on the company level – readability scores, number of documents created by all team members, sentences count, alerts shown/reviewed + charts for viewing the content quality trends (is the number of mistakes made decreases over time or not).
@sattu Hey Maxim, Shortly speaking, we are different from other solutions in several ways:
1. Different approach to privacy: we do not store your content unless you've created the document in the file storage in the web app, and even there we have a Secret mode for editing sensitive content (works like secret mode in messaging apps - you edit the content, it vanishes forever).
2. Help in content creation (a content templates' library featuring multiple essay formats, research paper templates;)
3. Linguix uses slightly different approach to grammar checking giving users more freedom in their writing (if you think there should be a passive voice, you know better, not the robot).
4. Also, we have personalized language learning and more educational features will come out soon.
5. Our price is lower (assuming discount offers and limited time deals all grammar checkers provide).

Congrats on launching. I have a question about privacy - does the extension send the sentences back to server for checking or the check is made locally ? And if locally how do you manage to transmit the machine learning model ?
@kokiweb Hello Kaloyan, thanks for your comment. We actually do send texts as the checking is performed by the server. That said, we do not store these sentences except the case when the user has created a document in our document storage (web app only).

@phenrysay Hi Pierre! Nice question. Unlike other grammar checkers we are not focusing only on native speakers, instead, our approach to grammar checking is better aligned with the non-native's abilities. For example, you can set up your mother tongue to get "false friends" corrections, etc.
Also, we are focusing on privacy. We do not store your documents (unless you've created them by yourself and put into the document storage), provide some tools for the complete anonymous use, and offer the Secret Mode for editing sensitive content.
Third, we do not only focus on grammar checking. We offer vocabulary enhancement features (synonym suggestions, English words definitions), personalized learning (definitions of the rules for mistakes made by a user), content template library of documents of multiple types (essays, white papers) - speed up your content creation process by 600%.

This looks like a nice product, but I can't tell the difference in features between plans. What's the difference in the pro / business plans? What do they do that the free plan doesn't?

- Premium retail plan includes 700+ additional checks for grammar, style, word choice.
- Unlimited synonym suggestions and words definition to view (free plan has its limitations there).
- Content templates library (20+ templates and counting) with texts of multiple types (from essays to white papers) - free plan does not include this.
- Advances statistics right in the extension - you can work on the Google doc and see the readability score, speaking/reading times, other insights (free plan does not offer this functionality).
Business plan includes
- Everything Premium plan offers
- Advanced statistics dashboard that describes the writing performance on the company level (how many documents team members have created, number of words checked and alerts shown), charts that illustrate performance over time,
- Team management features (adding/deleting users, etc.)
- Pricing is a bit different: we offer Business at $10 per member per month if paid monthly, and $5 per user per month, if paid annually. The plan starts from three team members.
P.S. We also have a Business+ plan, which has
- everything that Premium and Business offer plus stats for the specific team member (how productive he or she was, how writing quality evolves over time).
