Hi all and thanks Kevin for hunting us!
Let me tell you what Linguix snippets are and how the feature works:
- You can create a shortcut i.e. a template of an email, pitch, invite, or social media update, and then instantly expand this linger text by typing //yourshortcut.
- It is super useful when you need to write lots of similar messages, intros, follow-ups, etc.
- Shortcuts can be easily added using our web app at Linguix.com.
- Then, if you have our browser extension installed (Chrome, Firefox, Edge are supported), just type // to access library of your shortcuts or write //yourshortcut to instantly expand it.
- This can be done on millions of websites, including Gmail, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.
- Shortcuts allow saving up to $18 per hour and $10,600 a year on email and social Writing

@pressonthisnews1 In terms of snippets? They just do not have this functionality :)
A couple of other points:
1. Different approach to privacy: we do not store your content (unless you've created a document to store in the web app) and give users more control over privacy - you can use Secret mode to edit sensitive content (works like secret chat in messaging apps).
2. Help in content creation (a content templates' library featuring multiple essay formats, research paper templates).
3. Linguix uses slightly different approach to grammar checking giving users more freedom in their writing (if you think there should be a passive voice, you know better, not the robot).
4. Language learning engine with language level tests, grammar rules database, etc.
