Excellent one to find! Thanks for creating, Sujeet!
I am hoping this will get regular updates and not become static list. How are you gathering the lists?
@santoshpanda Thanks Santosh! Yes, I'll be updating the catalog regularly.
I've been curating these over a couple of weeks, by myself and from folks who recommended the good ones.
@sree Thanks, Sree! Although in my opinion, members in lists must be under 200. That gives the best value to catch up everything going on. More people, higher chances you missing out lot of stuff
So proud of you @sujeetbr on putting this out. The number of peple who don't get lists is mind boggling and glad that you are making it easier to discover + follow the right lists.
Congratulations on launching, will be lovely to see what the world thinks of it ππΌπ
I had always wondered how lists work on twitter, Listr really pusher me to find more and make the best use of it. Thanks Sujeet. Looking forward to connecting with a fellow maker like you sometime
Now I can get assured I'm using the best lists out there which had the most eyes upon. Thanks, Sujeet for putting your efforts into building this. π
A community upvote/downvote feature will be good in future, but I guess that's also somehow accomplished by followers on the list itself.
@heytulsiprasad Thanks, Tulsi! Yes I had planned about the community upvote part on the lists submitted by others. Didn't include it in this version. Maybe the next one it that seems good :)
Hello Product Hunt,
I'm Sujeet, and introducing...Listr!
Twitter is today's idea hub. A platform with the least friction to reach out to the forefront decision-makers, builders, and thought leaders. With the efficient use of lists, one can stay updated across domains, and reach out to undiscovered people they would resonate with.
But Lists on Twitter are quite underrated. Not a lot of people are aware of them and use them efficiently. This is primarily because of limited discovery and sub-par quality of most of them.
π‘ Solution:
Listr solves this by being a platform where one can explore some of the best lists on Twitter curated across multiple categories. There currently has 100+ lists on the platform, and more are to be added soon.
How did I curate these lists?
I definitely wanted to only feature good-quality lists. Hence the ones up are either made by credible people or, checked by me if the members of the list are a good fit for the purpose.
PS: If you follow or have created more of such interesting lists, send them via the form on Listr, I would love it feature it :)
Cheers,
Sujeet
Fantastic! Love the easy site design. Twitter lists are hugely underrated, glad we got something like this. One question, how do you sort the best lists from hundreds already present?
@exwhyzed Fully agree on the underrated part. Hopefully this can motivate folks to use them more.
I've been going through 100s of lists over the past couple weeks and curated the good quality ones. Either made by credible people or with good, relevant members. Will add more soon :)
