After our successful launch of our private beta, where we become the 2nd most upvoted product of the day and after nearly 2.000 beta-testers that joined us during the past months, we are glad to announce that Listy today is available for download for everyone.
We built Listy around a personal reflection that i've been thinking about for a year now: Bringing people back in control.
Companies fight for owning our interests, what we love, what we visit and use, because that information gives them leverage, gives them the power to know more about us, to sell our information to the best bidder, and to the very end, to become us into this: $.
We are not in control anymore, because we depend on those companies for keeping track of the things we love, and with each search, favorite or like we give them more power.
Now it’s time to bring you back in control, to let you own your digital life, to let you decide freely what to do with it.
That’s why we created Listy, to serve you and provide you control over your content, a tool to complement and amplify you, not a medium to transform you into a product. Everything in Listy is built & designed around this 2 main topics:

* One stop shop for all the things you love
Now it's time for you to decide what to do with your content.

@lbrkr Yep it's a global release but if you've been a beta-tester and you are up to date with the latest builds you probably had the public version some weeks before anyone else :)
I've been using Listy for a few months and this is now my default app for listing TV Show, Movies, Restaurants and so on. The UX is really nice and the smart displaying for the different categories is awesome !

Looks like a great bookmarking app. Congrats @basiclines on the successful launch. I think this needs a web version too. As a developer I use my laptop and across a lot of useful stuff which i bookmark. It will be great along with a web version, a chrome extension might do.

Been using this for a while. Mostly happy with it BUT it really needs CSV import/export. I can't invest too much in this app since it might be discontinued at any time for all I know.
HI @anna_0x we are going to build some tools to let people import their content into Listy from other sites easily. We are super committed with the app and there are not plans on changing that.
Additionally, as everything is stored in your device, even if at some point we stop working on the app you will have access permanently to the app and all your content.

@brady_endres1 Not for desktop, but on mobile you have the Share system option available on any app and Listy will appear as another option to receive a link
It's simply awesome! I was waiting for someone to do it for years now and I think it can't be made better than this ❤ I shared feedback about adding a list for people that can be used and customized many times, for example, movies directors, people I met, etc, I think that this would make it even more brilliant ❤
