This is amazing. Building this yourself (and a performant version at that) is such a monumental feat. Makes a ton of sense as live collaboration almost feels like tables stakes these days. Great work!
@scott_hanford Agreed, collaboration should be a commodity. Please don't make me download a file to work with you, let me see what you're doing so that I don't waste time doing the same thing

I used to be a .NET developer, but I changed career six years ago, moving into Product Management. Forgetting everything about dev...
A few months back, I decided to build a product to help me (and other actors) memorize their lines. I wanted my MVP to support basic features... and also collaboration.
Being a beginner, it took me three months to get to an MVP... full of bugs...
It was a nightmare for me, honestly.
That’s basically when Liveblocks gave me access to the Starter Kit. It took me a few seconds to install it and then a few hours to port my code.
In less than two days, I had a fully functional app, and I could focus on cool features to help actors memorize their lines. What an incredible feeling for a beginner!
Not only did it fast-tracked my development, but it also helped me understand some fundamental concepts of React, Server Side Rendering, API management, and CSS...
If you’re an expert, don’t waste time building rebuilding table-stakes collaborative features.
If you’re a beginner, follow the README and see how things are built. @ctnicholas did a fantastic job here! By starting with something that works, you’ll learn so much faster!
