@kevinroose In theory I agree with you and I have wanted to love Livescribe for a long time for exactly the reasons you cite. But have you had problems with "build quality"? I find that the pens aren't all that sturdy and it's one thing to have even a $50 pen break when it rolls off your desk or gets knocked around in a bag, but I have cycled through several Livescribes because they get cracked and stop working. And that's $99 and up. Also, the ink cartridges are not very good.
