Loom for Desktop is the world's most powerful video recorder.
It's almost exactly the same logo.
Pros:Product seems fine.
Cons:Why are you using the Samsonite logo?
Loom ftw
Pros:Easy to use, just under your fingertips, free, good quality
Cons:Had some issues with quality on high-res screens, but I think it got better
We've been on the beta for this, and it's great! Not being limited by the browser and having high quality exports is top-notch π
Pros:Simple, easy, and great high-quality videos we send to customer and prospects
Cons:None π
The silver lining is this has affirmed my belief that more people should learn how to code. So they can fix horrible software like this. They were responsive to support; but all they told me was that the video was gone and there was no way to get it back.
Pros:Easy sharing, Slack integration is handy
Cons:If you have an unstable internet connection, it just loses your video. No local copy. YOU HAD ONE JOB, LOOM. @%!@$
Such a great app on top of an amazing service.
Pros:Easy to use and beautiful.
Cons:Nothing yet
Before Loom, sharing a video of a product bug was a daunting tasks. You would need to either use Quicktime on Mac or some other complicated software to record your screen (maybe if your lucky the audio would work) and that would give you a big old 500+ MB video file for a decent sized video. At this point you lose faith since you need to share this and it's not getting any smaller even if you try all the compression tricks. You end up uploading it for a half hour to G Drive and send a link to your co-worker... Now you can literally click the Chrome extension, click start, record and then share. DONE.
Pros:It just works and the sharing and commenting functionalities are flawless.
Cons:Sometimes there are bugs when recording on Chrome but this might have been resolved with the new releases.
Canβt live without Loom! Especially now that the desktop app is out and has more features.
Pros:The simplest way to record quick videos and share them with your team. It works better than any other solution with no hassles.
Cons:I create more videos than ever because of Loom so itβs possible that my remote team gets to see my my early morning messy hair.
