This platform looks pretty amazing. One question though, will it work (inspiration, suggestions, etc.) for social media channels with content in other languages other than English?
Thibaud Clement
@jorge_dieguez thank you very much for your comment, your kind words and your questions🙏 The platform is only available in English for now, but: • Post Ideas that are built into the app cover events & celebrations worldwide, and you can connect RSS feeds in any language as well as pull Twitter Trends from anywhere in the world. • Post Optimization Tips are not based on language, so you should be fine 😉 I hope this makes sense and helps. Please let me know if I can help with anything, either here in the comments or over email at thibaud@loomly.com Have a fantastic day 👍

Hey Product Hunters, Thibaud (pronounce "Tebow") from the Loomly Team here: it's the middle of the night in my time zone and I am up to answer any question you may have 😉 I first built Loomly back in 2015 to make my spouse Noémie's job easier — and save her from a nightmare-inducing, spreadsheet-based process — and it somehow grew into a 10-person company serving more than 3,000 teams around the world: 👍 Loomly is a collaborative social media planning tool that helps marketing teams of all size create, approve and publish better content, faster. 🙏 It works just as well for in-house marketing teams as for agency/freelancers and their clients. 🆕 Loomly 3.0 introduces a brand-new user interface, Slack integration, custom roles and multiple assignments. From Day 1, when I was prototyping Loomly for Noémie, until today, as we speak with hundreds of users every day, feedback has been driving our roadmap and telling us what to build. We would love to know how you like this new interface and features and how we can keep making the platform better. You can try Loomly for free for 15 days (no credit card required): https://www.loomly.com/15-day-fr... Thank you so much for your consideration 😊
ElFitz
@thibaudclement I just love the story, and will definitely look into loomly when we get serious about social media Do you also do content queues with release times? Just curious
Thibaud Clement
@elfitz_ thank you very much for your kind words, this is much appreciated. 🙏😊 At this very moment, we do not support content queues, but we are in the process of building a Queue feature. The current ETA for that feature is April. Please let me know if I can help with anything when you try Loomly.
Noémie Clément
Hi! I am Noemie, Co-founder and CMO of Loomly. Thibaud, my husband, created Loomly back when we were managing a small marketing agency, to help me deal with our client’s social media posts. It's really not a stretch to say that it changed the way I was working, right away, and definitely for the best! Seeing how happy our clients were with this new workflow is what led us to share Loomly with other teams, outside of our own agency! And it looks like I was not the only one using spreadsheets to manage social media calendars  In fact, it seemed more the industry standard than anything else: from brands large and small, to agencies and freelancers, pretty much everyone we spoke with was on the same boat. As husband and wife, being featured on Product Hunt today on Valentine’s day is really the cutest gifts of all! We hope you (will) enjoy Loomly! Please let us know here if you have any questions, we are always happy to help! Happy Valentine’s day!

Would recommend for cost and ease of use

Pros:

Clean interface, easy to use, ability to choose from 3 different workflows

Cons:

Ability to post directly to Instagram

Thibaud Clement
@jmomonk thank you very much for your review, this is much appreciated.

Occasionally people forget to hit the Schedule button after approving a post, and a reminder for the poster/approver would be good.

Pros:

Fairly simple to use, decent pricing, and provides a good overview of what's drafted/posted/scheduled and published...

Cons:

Every platform has a few little 'foibles' and things you need to learn - scheduled but unapproved post reminders would be handy

Thibaud Clement
@dan_thornton thank you very much for your review and your feedback: this is much appreciated and super useful. We do have reminders in place for posts that are not approved at the time of publishing, but I am happy to investigate if we had an issue where a reminder was not sent to you 😉
Dan Thornton
@thibaudclement Hi - thanks for the reply. I suspect the reminder is sent to the person marked for approving the post, which is why I wouldn't have seen it (as I'm scheduling for client approval). Having the option to also send reminders to the original creator of the post would mean I could politely remind my client if needed. But aside from that minor niggle it's still one of the best tools I've used for managing social media in many years, so thank you for creating it!
Thibaud Clement
@badgergravling thank you very much for your response. You are correct, the reminder is automatically sent to the person assigned to the post. I took note of the idea of having the option to send the reminder to the creator of the post, which is really brilliant. In the meantime, maybe our recently-released Multiple Assignment feature can help resolve this, by leaving you assigned to the post all the time. I hope this makes sense and helps. Please feel free to reach out to me over email at thibaud@loomly.com if I can assist you with anything else. Again, thank you so much for your review and your feedback.

Melia Dicker

As a digital media manager, I've used a lot of social media management software. I've used Loomly for a short time but already like it best. Seems like new features are added regularly, and the customer service via web contact form was quick and helpful.

Pros:

Master calendar view + labels; template post content across channels; photo galleries; themed post ideas. Great customer service.

Cons:

Look forward to when Loomly can post directly to Instagram without needing to go through Buffer.

Thibaud Clement
@mjdicker thank you so much for your review, this is incredibly useful. I am really glad to read that you are enjoying Loomly so far and that we are able to provide you with a nice experience on the support side. We are doing everything we can to bring native scheduling to Loomly as soon as possible. I confirm that we have many new features coming very soon, including major updates. Please let me know if I can help with anything 🙏

I tried a lot of tools to get rid of boring things with social media management and community management. Some did well but not enough, some were too expensive, some were not so easy to use ! One day I had the opportunity to try Loomly 🌟🌟🌟 Now : All my collaborators are using it everyday, All my customers have adopted it (even if they do not know, we are working with Loomly 😂). Honestly, Loomly is one of my favorite products. I have a number of clients for whom I post content and Loomly makes it easy. I've used Loomly's competitors - a number of them - and I keep returning to Loomly. It's easy to use, well designed, and intuitive. And it's not going to break you bank. I'm a small business and the cost of doing business could easily eat all of my profits - Loomly does everything its higher priced competition does for less money. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Thibaud Clement
@dandeliondrifts thank you so much for your kind words, this means so much for our entire team 😊😻💓 Have a wonderful day 🙏

Our oldest calendar has the ID 1979 and our newest calendar has the ID 51596 – that's how long we've used Loomly for (and how exciting the platform's growth has been)! Loomly has by far the best value and best feature-set amongst its competitors. Try it and you'll love it.
Thibaud Clement
@josiah_b thank you so much for your very kind comment, it means everything to our team.
Emmanuel Devys

JUST TRY IT ! I can easily crosspost with a few clicks and with designated content for each of my social channels. I can even boost my posts with paid content. Better than all the others and price is really cheap compare to power ! It is saving a lot of time in my organisation and in my exchanges with my customers and my collaborators. At this time, Loomly is in all my proposal and I always use it for all my clients. I tried a lot of this tools and I think it is the best.

Pros:

Very easy to use for : Community managers, content managers, customers and collaborators.

Cons:

I still have to manual publish my instagram posts but it's quite easy

Thibaud Clement
@emmanuel_devys thank you so much for your review, this is very appreciated. It makes our day to read that you are enjoying Loomly. We are doing everything we can do launch Instagram automated publishing as soon as possible. Please let me know if I can help with anything.

Really loving Loomly. I work with a small marketing team - we were on Hootsuite and I did an extensive trial of pretty much all the social media management platforms out there and Loomly is a real breath of fresh air. It's far better featured and organised than Hootsuite and offers far better segregation of posts - I can easily create different calendars and reports based on different areas of my buiness and use tags to separate further. I think it's far more focused than others and they keep adding cool new features and updates to the interface etc. And best of all, it's far better value than the likes of Hootsuite and Social Sprout. I'd seriously recommend Loomly as the first platform to try to anyone looking to manage their social media effectively.

Pros:

Price, features, continual development, easy segregation and reporting of posts across accounts, ease of use, reporting

Cons:

Can't think of any at the moment

Thibaud Clement
@jsdotoliver thank you so much for your kind review, this means the world to us.
emmanuel devys

I surely recomand it warmly ! It is a very good opportunity for community managers.

Pros:

Easy collaboration tool. perfect from freelance to advertising companies

Cons:

Waiting for Instagram automatic publishing but I can wait a little more ;-)

Thibaud Clement
@edevys thank you very much for your review, this helps a lot.
Assisting You Social

We've been using Loomly for about a year and love it. Other than the Instagram issue, it has everything we want/need in a social media scheduling tool. Highly recommended.

Pros:

Powerful scheduler, tremendous customer support team.

Cons:

The lack of auto-publishing to Instagram is the only con, but it is a huge one.

Thibaud Clement
@assisting_you thank you so much for your review, this is immensely helpful 🙏 We are really sorry we have not been able to bring Instagram automated scheduling to you earlier and we are currently doing everything in our control to find the most suitable solution as soon as possible.

Our oldest calendar has the ID 1979 and our newest calendar has the ID 51596 – that's how long we've used Loomly for (and how exciting the platform's growth has been)! Loomly has by far the best value and best feature-set amongst its competitors. Try it and you'll love it.

Pros:

Great support, excellent feature-set.

Cons:

Small things (but that list gets smaller everyday with their active development)

Thibaud Clement
@josiah_b thank you so much for your review, your kind words and your trust 🙏🙏🙏 It's an honor for the entire Loomly team to be able to build a product every day for incredibly supportive customers like you.
aweesan

As a content creator and part-time social media coordinator, having a tool such as Loomly makes scheduling posts easy. I've used this platform for about 5 months now; They have been quite active in feature updates, including the addition of the product tutorial, and extremely responsive to suggestions and customer service questions. The interface is easily navigated and relatively intuitive.

Pros:

See below.

Cons:

I would love it to include it's own DIY graphic design tool/templates (think: Canva, piktochart, etc.)

Thibaud Clement
@aweesan thank you so much for your review and your kind words: it's really nice to read that Loomly contributes to making your job easier 🙏 Adding a graphic design tool to our product would definitely be a super useful update and improvement.
Anthony Besson

I have been using loomly for more than a year now and it made my life so easy: so much time saved!

Pros:

The best Social Media approval & programming platform: easy interface, loved by agencies and the clients.

Cons:

I don't see any!

Thibaud Clement
Thank you so much @anthony_besson : this means the world to us 🙏🙏🙏
Sara Henderson

We've been using for about 4 months.

Pros:

Multiple calendars, multiple channels, multiple users. Even easy for low tech users. Easy + effective = love.

Cons:

Keep doing what you're doing.

Thibaud Clement
@sarahenderson thank you so much for your review and your very kind words ❤ This really means the world for our entire team to read that you are enjoying Loomly so far. Please let me know if I can help in any way. Again, thank you so much 🙏
Holly Wentworth

This social media management site could be perfect if they fixed the cons I mentioned above.

Pros:

Easy to manage several clients' social media pages.

Cons:

Calendars aren't in alphabetical order. You have to individually duplicate each post. Instagram doesn't post automatically.

Thibaud Clement
@holly_wentworth thank you so much for your review and your feedback. Regarding the items you mention above: • We literally have a ticket on our roadmap to allow you to sort your calendars in alphabetical order. The current ETA for this update is April. I will see if that's something we can bump up in priority. • About duplicating post: would you like to be able to bulk duplicate posts? • We are doing everything we can to make automated publishing to Instagram available as soon as possible. Again, thank you so much for your comment and your feedback: this is truly, very helpful.
Holly Wentworth
@thibaudclement Yes, because one of my clients has 50 locations with all the same content (other than phone number and address changes). When I'm scheduling 12 posts on average for those calendars, it gets super frustrating having to go in and individually duplicate each post to each location. When you do the math, it comes out to about 600 posts I'm having to manually duplicate, and it takes me about 12 hours to complete the task. If there's any way this could be done in a more effective way, it would save me hours or tedious work! :) Thanks!
Thibaud Clement
@holly_wentworth thank you so much for your response, this is much helpful. This use case makes perfect sense. What we want to be careful about — both us as a tool developer and you as a user — is that social networking websites are gearing towards penalizing duplicate content, be it the same posts published mutiple times to the same account OR to multiple accounts. This is one of the reason why we are trying not to encourage bulk duplicate in Loomly. One thing we could do is investigate the specific case of franchises/locations where it is reasonable to publish similar content to multiple accounts: I will look into that. Thank you very much.
