We are so excited to officially launch Lottielab 1.0! This marks the end of our public beta and a new chapter in our mission to build the most intuitive, collaborative, and powerful animation tool available. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- What's new? 🎁 We are introducing TWO brand-new features: Comments and Multi-Artboard. These two features are built with teams in mind, with the goal of improving collaboration within and between teams. - Comments: Collaboration starts with communication, and now you can keep feedback right where it belongs. Our new Comments feature lets you leave detailed notes directly on any animation within the Lottielab editor. Whether you’re fine-tuning designs or brainstorming new ideas, this feature keeps your team aligned by centralizing communication in one place. - Multi-Artboard: No more creating multiple files for a single project. With Multi-Artboard, you can now create and manage multiple animations within a single canvas. This means you can resize designs for different platforms and experiment with tweaks without disrupting the original. This is perfect for when you’re iterating on ideas or would like to invite your team to collaborate on a design. 💸 And for our BIG ONE! We have reviewed our subscription prices to make Lottielab more accessible to all creators. Starting today, our loyal beta users will access Lottielab Pro for only $18 a month. For a limited time (until January 2025), new users can access Lottielab Pro at the same price. This is your opportunity to unlock the full potential of Lottielab at an incredible value. Head over to your Lottielab editor and subscribe now! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 💜 We'd Love Your Support The success of Lottielab 1.0 is as much about our community as it is about the tool itself. To make this launch impactful, kindly give us an upvote and leave a review. Every vote helps us reach more creators. We’ve grown far beyond what we ever imagined, and it’s all because of you—our loyal users. Thank you for being an integral part of our journey. And for new users just discovering Lottielab, welcome! We’re so excited to have you as part of our growing community. ✨

@oluwatofunmi_alo Congrats on the launch of Lottielab 1.0! 🎉 The new features like Comments and Multi-Artboard are fantastic for team collaboration. I’m curious, though—Rive’s focus on interactivity sets it apart from Lottie, which may lack this aspect. Do you have any plans to introduce more interactive capabilities into Lottielab to compete with tools like Rive?
Andrew Ologunebi
@oluwatofunmi_alo @tonyabracadabra Hey Tony, thanks for the feedback! Lottielab currently has interactive capabilities with advanced states and events and a UI that’s more familiar to designers. This makes it the easiest workflow at the moment for creating fully functional interactive animations without coding

@oluwatofunmi_alo @drewosophy oh great! is it still included in lottie format?
Andrew Ologunebi
@oluwatofunmi_alo @tonyabracadabra Yes it is, although worth looking at the Lottielab player and more instructions if you’re using it for your own codebase to see how to integrate it properly: https://docs.lottielab.com/edito...

@oluwatofunmi_alo Why was the duplicate file function removed in this update?Additionally, I subscribed to Pro in your previous Beta version. When creating animations, I encountered some bugs and sent a support email to your team for help, but it seems like no one has responded to me.

This is the most impressive thing I've seen in the animation space. Ran by the coolest founders I've met - congrats on the launch

This is one of the products I've been eagerly waiting for, and it looks very promising for the 1.0 release. While I still encounter a few hiccups—especially when importing JSON files or working with complex animations—I'm confident those will be addressed soon. I'm particularly excited about how Lottie Lab could streamline the reviewing and feedback process. Can't wait to see how it evolves!

Hey everyone, Drew here. After months in beta, we are excited to share that Lottielab 1.0 is finally live! 🎉 We've learned a lot from our beta community, and we'd like to thank everyone who has helped us take Lottielab to a whole new dimension. 🌌 Today, some of the world's leading designers and product teams use Lottielab to create and collaborate on dynamic animations more easily and faster than before. This release is packed with a TON of goodies including: - Multi-artboard: Brainstorm and collaborate with your team on an infinite canvas of animation artboards. - Design tools and properties to help you create stunning animations such as effects (shadows and blur), text, masks, paths, gradients and more. - Host and manage live animations for your websites and apps - Export the tiniest file size with our Lottie optimiser, or as 4k MP4 or Gif for social media use-cases. - Create interactive animations with full state machine functionality and event triggers, all within lottielab and seamlessly integrate with code. - And others like comments so you can discuss feedback live in the editor, File search and more. And lastly, we are offering all our existing beta users an automatic 25% DISCOUNT on Pro access, so if you've already signed up, be rest assured you'll benefit from this. We are also extending this discount to all new users until January 2025.

This is probably the most amazing launches or the products that I have seen till now hats off folks at Lottie Labs. I had a short question! I was exploring the examples and I saw that there is a copy framer button When I copied it, it just gave me a link. I'm not sure how are we supposed to use it? If there could have been any instructions around it that would have been helpful.

Another big day for Lottielab, HBD hitting the big 1.0 with another handful of outstanding features to increase productivity and teamwork in the web creative pipeline. Been using Lottielab since very early days, and constantly impressed with the continual improvement, and valuable feature improvements.

Tried out this tool and it's 100% amazing 🔥 Really seeing updates coming up, bugs being fixed, experience is butter smooth! Basically Figma for vector motion design! Love using it! Thank you, creators! And good luck! 🙏

LottieLabs makes it desperately easy to animate your imagination in minutes! I stumbled on this plugin the other day and now it has replaced all of my other animation tools. I just design quickly in figma, animate it quickly in LottieLab, and I'm done! Thanks for creating such an intuitive and powerful tool!
Daniel Allison
The most awesome motion design tool out there!
Andrew Ologunebi
Thanks Daniel! @danieldesignzz

Congrats on the launch! 🎉 An amazing tool that saves me dozens of hours of work. I’ve finally got rid of After Effects. Could you please tell me if you’re planning to release an app for macOS? Currently, Chrome/Safari on M1 is struggling to handle such functionality
Andrew Ologunebi
@honeynek Thanks Oleg, glad you’re enjoying the tool! And we’ve considered it before but it’s not on our immediate roadmap, however, it doesn’t seem like it would be that far away. In the meantime, feel free to share any performance issues with support@lottielab.com. It might be something fixable earlier
Christopher Adams
Does the tool allow for importing existing animations or only creating from scratch?
Andrew Ologunebi
@christopher__adams Hey yes it does. It has the most complete import for Lottie animations at the moment, so you can import animations created in After effects or Lottie templates and assets from the wild
Hugo
Congrats on the launch! Would be nice if you could remove the logos on your website of companies that don't use your product.
Andrew Ologunebi
@hugo_mp4 Thanks Hugo! And the logos were specifically selected to only include companies with team members using Lottielab, and even then, only a fraction of these companies are listed on the website. If there’s a mistake somewhere, would be more than happy to check and correct it

I love LottieLab, Need to be fixed please: on exporting transparent gif file, it does not provide 100% accuracy (Cutting Edges), please pay attention.
