I've used every version of MacX DVD Ripper Pro going back to 2013. It constantly upgrades its version. Usually it gets some minor bugs fixed or adds some latest device profiles (iPhone X, iPhone Xs, alike). Of course, it will formally add its updates on its product webpage if there is something great added to it like the GPU hardware acceleration, the support of workout DVD, AV DVD, damaged DVD. I almost witness its whole development. It's imperfect. Not all the DVD discs can be well supported and ripped. Yet, it can rip most of my DVD discs (the old discs and the newly released discs). So basically, I'm satisfied with its performance. It would be even better if it can include more useful features like DVD burning, CD disc ripping. Do I ask too much? hahahahahah.......
