Organize, rename, summarize, and extract key data from any document with MagicDocs — your secure, AI-powered solution for time-saving document management.
Hi all-I’m Amélie, the founder and CEO of Formally, and this is our first PH launch!
I have a confession: My desktop used to be a total disaster zone🌪️
Unlabeled files, endless searching... It got especially bad when I was working on my immigration case: I sent my legal team folders with hundreds of unlabeled screenshots. I was THAT person.
🔮 That's why we built MagicDocs!
Organize, rename, summarize, and extract key data from any document with MagicDocs — your secure, AI-powered solution for time-saving document management.
MagicDocs isn't just a tool — it's my personal victory against digital disorganization 😤.

Your support and feedback are invaluable to us.💜
P.S. Special thanks to @chrismessina for hunting us! And of course, hats off to the amazing team at Formally who made this possible.
The value prop of MagicDocs is nothing short of a preview of the next generation of operating systems — where file types are replaced with semantic document formats defined less by the high level contents within, but by the purpose they serve!
Seriously, just dump your messy Desktop or Downloads folder into MagicDocs and it'll make sense of it all — whether they're specific PDF forms from known entities, or screenshots of websites you want to return to, or other chaotic mess.
This is what AI on the desktop will look like — and best of all, you can try it now!
@chrismessina wow—thank you so much for believing in the vision we’re building with MagicDocs!
We’re so glad MagicDocs resonates and can’t wait to continue building the future 🚀
Your day 1 support means the word, thank you so much for hunting us 🙏✨
Interesting! :) I really like the sleek UI of MagicDocs. I can't help but think about Humata because I use it for handling a ton of files for academic research. How is this different from Humata.ai, which is backed by Google and already seeing adoption at elite law firms (friends at top 20 law firm) to answer questions across many of files?
@david_blainemagix love this question, David!
MagicDocs is designed to organize files, whereas Humata is more focused on letting users ask content about pdfs or documents they upload. One really common use case for MagicDocs at law firms is to use it to label, organize and extract data from the mountains of files they receive from clients. One corporate firm mentioned that they received a zip attachment with 4000+ unlabeled files that they had to manually open, review, label and do data entry for.
@avavon, amazing work! I'm so impressed with what you have created; sounds awesome and so useful!
With this, bringing order to document chaos is so quick and intuitive.
You've really outdone yourself!
I’m really excited about this product. I have a massive library of screenshots/PDFs from different applications/tools that aren’t easy to work with. Having this tool will make my life so much easier. Such a creative use for AI! What other features are on your roadmap?
@conor_brennan_burke1 thanks for checking it out! We are currently considering improved data review (thoughts on side by side document and data review? 👀) and integrations with other platforms for our next up features on our roadmap. What would you like to see next?
For those testing out MagicDocs today, thank you! We’re dying to know, what’s your use case? We’ve used it with financial, employment, and civil documents. How are you using MagicDocs?
@ccgong I used it to pull a bunch of info I needed to fill out a government form and was able to skip sending a client a long questionnaire they don't want to fill out. I can't overstate what an improvement this is!!
@ccgong I have been using it in a land surveying context. Feeding it public real property records and training it to give me title conveyance data, isolate legal descriptions, find easements and exceptions to coverage buried in piles of verbiage. I foresee MagicDocs saving me endless hours and days of combing through docs and manually piecing the puzzle together for my projects!
@ccgong I used it to organize documents for a mortgage application. I really liked how fast and easy it was, and that I didn't have to relabel everything. The only person more impressed than me will probably be the mortgage agent lol
Congrats on the launch! Very cool app
@juanmartinez Thank you so much for saying that, Juan! It's truly born out of a personal pain point. My Screenshots are NEVER labeled. Anything you'd be excited to use it for?
Congrats on the launch! Excited to see this - I feel like my documents are all over the place. So, this type of search will be huge for improving my productivity!
@stephen_turban Thank you so much for checking out MagicDocs, Stephen!
Let us know if there are any other features you’d like to see. We’re so pumped to make MagicDocs even more magical 🔮
