@kilianvalkhof thank you a ton, Killlian! There are more to come. Custom patterns, richer shapes gallery and social media templates are some of the upcoming features. π€
@gillisig haha we (designers) always tend to have a slight bias on design tool launches π
Anyway, thanks you so much for your kind words. I appreciate your support!!!
@sandochee thanks a lot! I guess Bauhaus is never off trends haha.
Btw you did a really great progress on the Undesign app. I love how simple yet rich and complete your gallery is.
@draptis At the end I can't list your website sorry :( I just saw that we can no longer use your product for free. Unfortunately I only list products with a free tier.
The shapes look cool, but I wish there was more flexibility. It seems confined to geometric shapes in a grid?
It would be nice to break out of the grid, perhaps with curved lines or straight lines (in a pattern).
@graeme_fulton Thanks so much Graeme! β€οΈ
You're in my mind. Next steps will be either a richer collections of pattern and an extension to add these pattern into social media post templates.
I'm always open to Integrations with existing builder too. I could easily build an API on top of MagicPattern and offer it for experimentation on developers.
@graeme_fulton I totally agree with that. I believe designers are not so used to pay for tools (at least from my experience from VisualEyes). Maybe it's because of the design vs marketing budgets on companies.
The idea is just great.
I've been looking for the patterns a few times and it's not easy to find something useful and looking stylish. Just make it and use it. Thank you and good luck!
This looks great, just purchased!
I hope custom patterns are coming soon! I'm looking for a pattern generator where I can upload a shape and either get a pattern generated from the shape or an inverse of the shape (cut out of the background) as a solid SVG that can be edited in Illustrator. Ideally I'd be able to specify the generated width/height in pixels or inches and be able to specify how close/far the shapes are per row/column.
This an example:
In this case, the final shape is a single solid SVG where the white shape is cut out of the black background (as opposed to just having copies of the shape on top of the background). Let me know if that makes sense - this would be super helpful to my work!
@khalidadil_ thanks for trusting my product man π
It makes totally sense and it's on the future plans. I'll shoot you an email (tomorrow morning) to learn more details about your use case. Thanks again!
