We built the MLH Top 50 to inspire people to learn tech skills and build awesome products and communities. When Swift and I were getting started, going to community events like hackathons and meetups changed how we thought about the world and changed our entire direction in life. We were impacted and inspired by community leaders and developers who shared their time, energy, and knowledge with us. We built the MLH Top 50 as a platform to feature these inspirational leaders so that the next generation of technologists can feel welcome, included, and like they have a clear path forward in their tech careers.

Having essentially 'grown up' with MLH from the start of my tech career, it's a huge honour to be featured on this list alongside so many other talented hackers :) Thanks for everything you all do for the community!
