"Get started for free", but no indication of pricing. Instantly assume it is expensive and can't share it with clients or conference audiences that may like it.
@kmullett the software is free to use till April 2020. Post that we might charge, but no policy decision has been made yet.
@kmullett @arunpattnaik Thanks Arun. But I won't consider this a UX Mistake 101. We don't have a clear picture on the pricing and we have outlined a detailed blog post about the same for our users in a medium article.

@pratik_ghela stating that clearly and upfront would go a long way to assuage the FUDs of your important early adopters who also frequently have a higher proclivity for sharing new and interesting tools/services. Thanks for the response.

@pratik_ghela I have a feedback about the sign up flow. When you get someone to sign up using their google account, verifying the email is an unnecessary step. If I signed up with my Google account, it means I am a verified owner of the account.
@giri As much as I know, you don't have to verify if you login from your Google account. You verify only if you sign up using email. If you have a use case, please mail it to us -> support@makestories.io
@makestories @pratik_ghela I signed up using my Google account and also got a verification email. I was unable to proceed before I verified my email. Kindly check and fix.

I have built a couple of stories using MakeStories. I use the WordPress plugin to upload the stories created to my WordPress website. This is a great feature which needs improvement but it does the work for now. The support team is great too and @pratik_ghela is always available for support

Great work guys! I'm working on something really similar but with a focus on embedded interactive elements (sliders, polls, free text inputs,...) - I understand your focus is to make stories more visual & beautiful & I'm curious: what are the main use cases behind this focus?
@svend_court_payen Our focus is to support every feature that AMP Stories comes up with. So, anything that AMP Stories will have, we will have it soon

@anesh_pillai1 Hey Anesh, we are helping brands create vertical stories on the web. Lumen5 is a video creation tool while we are a story creation tool. Hope this helps.
Using MakeStories for more than 7 months now. I love the way you can just drag drop and get the stories. They also provide an option to upload to a short domain which I often use. The collection of Royalty free images and the illustration is just great.
