Similar direction to @levelsio's Hoodmaps. Nice work. πŸ‘πŸΌ

Thanks, @rrhoover! πŸ™Yeah, we love Hoodmaps as well! πŸ™Œ

Nice job! Pros: Love the simple UI and intuitive UI. The login via link is seamless Cons: Not immediately obvious how to create a new map. Not great on mobile. Used a large phone (iPhone X) and the popups didn't fit and some didn't work at all (adding an emoji, when adding a location wasn't possible).

This should be a browser extension that overlays data on top of google maps.

Hi guys! Nice idea! Does it work only for Sweden?
Casper Nielsen
@aga_jaskiewicz Thank you! πŸ‘ It's not limited to Sweden – you can use it anywhere πŸ‘

How do I create a map?
Baltsar
I just clicked on a map and then used the dropdown menu to create. I created /gosledding ❄️ Lets go! Great idea

@albgrs1 Guys, fix the login its tedious to login through email box, maybe next thing on the roadmap. I am going to take over the world with my sled map here. :)

I really like UI style here. Combination of emoji and rounded rectangles with bold font is beautiful and super user-friendly ;)

@ariel_jedrzejczak Thank you Ariel, happy to hear that! πŸ™Œ

I wish Atlas Obsura was this easy to use.

I have always wanted an app where I can find cool local locations for photography, food or drinks. I just found a map of bars in amsterdam already, and discovered some places that I did not know about yet.

Pros:

Easy to use Love the way of organizing spots by category

Cons:

Scrolling through the map is kinda slow Missing a lot of content for now

Hi Hunters! πŸ‘‹ I’m Daniel, one of the makers of Maplist. With the insight that there exists an incredible amount of community-created maps out there – we decided to build the platform for bringing them all together. On Maplist.co you can: 🌎 Co-create public maps πŸ’¬ Interact with pins, comments and upvotes 😍 Explore new niched communities βœ… Save your favorite maps in one place ⭐️ Be awesome and earn karma Sign up for free and secure the best map names before they get taken! ⚑️ _________ Fun facts: πŸ‘‘ Similar to reddit, first person to create a public map becomes the admin. πŸ‘¨β€πŸŽ“ All co-founders are currently studying together at Hyper Island. πŸ€” Maplist started out as a suggestion system for citizens. πŸš€ We have a map with locations of startups!

@danielbech I'm SO happy you made this: I have "reddit of maps" in my notes for years now but never got the time to build it! Are you thinking of actually integrating to reddit? ie. providing a default blank map for every subreddit? Great job, UI looks great :)

Hi @danielbech Nice idea! Love the UI and the simple design. I tried creating a few maps and here are a few suggestions: 1) The "create map" button/option doesn't seem to be accessible from all screens. 2) It would be great if you could create private maps and invite your friends to it. 3) The terms and conditions page leads to a "Create TOS map?" page? :) You might want to fix this. 4) The maps were showing in Swedish when I accessed it. It would be better if the locale of the user is used for the map. Overall, great product! Kudos to you all! PS: The startups map is cool.

Hey! How come you closed this down? @danielbechhansen @louiseenglund @albgrs1 @casper_nielsen

While I like the idea, this doesn't seem usable yet. For one, there should be a "create map" button from the home screen after logging in. Why should I click someone else's map first before seeing the create map button? Second, theres no way to jump to a specific address. I'm trying to make a map of places all over LA and I have to scroll and cross reference google maps to make sure I'm clicking the right location. Doing this uncovered a bug, I keep jumping back to my "current location" (after clicking the locate me button in the bottom right) when I switch between tabs.

Pros: Awesome idea, cool design Cons: Almost unusably buggy on firefox :( No Oauth Once I log out I'm not able to log back in Default location seems to always be somewhere in Sweden even if niether I nor any tags are there This looks super promising, but it's probably in more of an "early alpha" stage than a "beta". Really hoping this becomes a real product in the next couple months!
