Markd is a button on the browser to quickly bookmark and organise interesting people you find online.

Use Markd to organise and reach out to creative talent, job candidates, sales prospects, or just for marking interesting people that you want to return to later. It's like Pinterest but for People!

I use people I follow as a CRM. It's certainly not the best tool for this but outside of Facebook, it's the only place aggregating people I know that might want to invite to an event, for example.

@rrhoover I used to use Twitter private lists to organise people on Twitter. It got a bit messy after a few years, and I wanted also to track people outside of Twitter. This is where the idea of markd came about actually. The ability to message/communicate with people though is something this doesn't do currently. Hmm interesting idea... ;)

This is fantastic. I dig into topics (too many) to understand frameworks. and then move on while maintaining a "read-only" familiarity. Part of digging is identifying influencers, educators, and contrarian voices. None belong in my CRM, but my hacked-together system of google docs is inefficient & thus, unused.

@kkdub I think that's a great use case for Markd. You might not want to see updates from all these people from different fields/topics continuously, but have a place where you can find them easily. I've also tried the Google Docs/Sheets route and maintenance became an issue rather quickly.

The password pop-up doesn't connect to Lastpass. Lastpass tries to connect to the login credentials of the page, not the Markd pop-up.

Wow I woke up on a cold and rainy morning to see this here - thanks so much for the ProductHunt love! Markd.co is a side project, created from a personal need to have a quick and easy way to remember people I find online - I'm so glad others are finding it useful, too. You can read more about the back story here http://www.pepwuper.com/markd-pi... It's a simple tool that we use ourselves at Pepwuper, but if others like it then we want to keep improving it so that others can benefit from it, too. We have had a lot of feature requests - and bug reports! - and I'll be surely to review and prioritise them so please do keep the feedback coming. P.s. @mikeysee helped build this. He's AWESOME. And thanks @isiyfa for submitting markd.co to PH!

Sort of profile aggregator. Great tool, if this also can pull people info from blogs and comments etc.

@sridhar_kondoji Wordpress, Blogger, and Tumblr integrations could definitely be cool! Saving this for later. :)

I liked the logo and nice UI

@naveen_pr Thanks Naveen. We try to keep the UI simple and tidy. There are a few updates coming to continue this direction while providing a bit more functionality on the card interface on the main dashboard. :)

Wonderful! Perfect for a scatter-brained job seeker whose current way to track email address/linkedin profiles is via dedicated Chrome windows with 30 tabs in each. This is much easier on my RAM! Would love the ability to customize input fields, i.e. email address, phone, etc.

@aus10yates Thanks for the suggestion re: custom fields. It's something we've thought about but decided to keep it simple for now. You can use the Note section for additional information. I have some ideas re: contact info that might be interesting down the line... ;)

@aus10yates Get rake.io or JibberJobber. (Use of JJ is actually in my client agreement for job seekers...track all the things!)
