Last year, I launched Afriktrip to solve the niche problem of travel activities booking to African destinations for the holiday. In the past few months, i discovered that before a customer gets to the point of booking tours and activities to do in Africa, a lot of research goes beforehand into finding information such as best time to visit, visa requirements, etc and this entails visiting multiple blogs which is essentially creating another problem and as stressful as finding things to do in this African countries. So I created Afroscanner to bring this necessary information into one place in a directory format. Data regarding best time to visit, entry requirements and coronavirus updates are sourced and updated from official Government websites, top travel blogs (crazytourists, responsible travel, nationsonline, Audrey travel etc.) and travel platforms (ivisa, onlinevisa, safaribookings etc.). Tours and activities to do are sourced via integration with Afriktrip marketplace - all tours and activities on Afriktrip are organised by registered and KYC verified local tour guides & operators in various African countries. We are updating the website with more African destinations and more travel information on a daily basis.
