Amazing product! Congratulations on the launch. Can we also do some processing before visualizing the data?
Matthias Baert
@naveed_rehman Hi Naveed! Yes, Marple offers various data processing methods. We mostly focus on performing calculations on signals, both simple equations as well as more complex filters etc. What kind of processing would you need?
Matthias Baert
@naveed_rehman We do have moving average and cumulative sum which you can combine!

Congratulations on the launch! Seems like a pretty helpful tool for data visualization of time series data. One quick question, how does the product compare to other software like Grafana?
Matthias Baert
@harsh_siriah1 Hi Harsh! Thanks for the nice words :) Grafana is more of a dashboarding/monitoring tool, and it's quite a bit of work to set up your queries etc. Marple is made for proper data analysis rather than monitoring. Everything in the Marple UI is optimised for engineering analysis. We have cases where people use Grafana for real-time monitoring and Marple for the post-analysis. Feel free to have a go at Marple and check it out for yourself!

@mbaerto_marple Thank you for the response. It does answer my question very well. I'll definitely check the product out too.

Hey ProductHunt πŸ‘‹ Matthias and Nero here, co-founders of Marple. We are very happy to show you what Marple is and what it can do! πŸ’‘ What is Marple? Marple is a web-based time-series data analysis platform created by engineers, for engineers. It is designed to handle massive data sets coming from tests and measurements. We allow engineers to organize, visualize and analyse their data in a more powerful way. πŸ’‘ Why Marple? We are both R&D engineers and got frustrated by the way data is handled in engineering. Nowadays, engineers need to write their own Python or MATLAB scripts, or even use Excel, in order to visualise and analyse some data. That’s a shame. This should be done better, so that’s why we created Marple! πŸ’‘ How does it work? It’s quite simple; create an account, drop your data and start visualizing it! We currently use data files as the means of data upload & import. This can be done manually or via the API. Once your data is imported in Marple, you can visualize any signal at any time in the browser. The data remains available in your account. Marple processes the data so that it can be visualized instantly. Don’t believe it? Experience it yourself! If you have sensor data in a log file, there is a big chance that it will fit in Marple. We support a variety of files. You can find more info in our documentation: https://www.marpledata.com/docs/.... πŸ’‘ Can I try it? YES! We like to give everyone the opportunity to use Marple for their data analysis. Via our website (marpledata.com) you can get access to the platform. For individual users the basic plan is FREE! For our team plan we have a 14-day trial, no strings attached. We hope you enjoy Marple. If you have questions or feedback, we are very happy to reply to you in the comments! Thanks ProductHunt!
