Marvin is an extension for browsers to auto-fill the Stripe's Test Card and payment info. Save time of typing '4242' tons of times while developing and debugging your website with Stripe payments.
Hello there, hunters! 👋
As many of you may know, when developing a website with Stripe applications, you must enter the test card number '4242 4242 4242 4242' to test payments. You also need to input an expiration date and CVC... and it turns out that '4/24' is now an invalid date, so the friction has increased since you can no longer simply type 42 in all the fields 😵💫
During the development, testing, and maintenance of your product, you may have to do this hundreds of times!
That's why I created Marvin, a simple browser extension that automatically fills in the payment info, email, and cardholder name to test payments with just one click and eliminate all the friction.
I hope you enjoy it and would love to know your thoughts 😃
this is amazing and quite brilliant thank you for saving the heck of a hectic task in repetition trying to test dummy cards this is quite good and congratulations
congratulations on the launch of marvin, juanjo! automating repetitive tasks is always a win. i'm curious, are there features in place to customize the auto-filled test data, or is it standardized to one set of info for all users?
I just finished my product that's launching here on Tuesday. Testing the stripe link. LITERALLY thinking "I'll bet someone has made an extension that does this (inputs the test card info)" hahaha nice job
It's always a bit tedious to repeatedly enter test payment information, and this extension seems like a perfect solution to streamline the development and debugging process.
Congratulations on creating something that not only saves time but also reduces the potential for errors during testing.
This is a very useful tool. Previously, when I needed to perform this operation, I always had to search for a credit card information generator on Google, or use one of my zero balance cards.
Congratulations on the launch!
Our own product will also be launching payment-related features this year, so we should be able to use it.
