MashApp’s mission is to make music creation fun for non-musicians. We believe one way to do that is to let people play with their favorite music. We think people have always done this through DJ’ing, mix tapes, mashups, and karaoke. We believe that new A.I. technologies will take this type of musical play to another level. We want this new creative play to be a great experience for fans and artists.

@ianhenderson @ashitvora I had the same first reaction. After content writers, video makers, SDrs - now is the turn of making DJs redundant :-)

@ashitvora @tushj We actually have a lot of experienced DJ’s using MashApp to easily experiment with different song and stem combinations. But our main goal, like you say, is to greatly expand the number of people who can play with their favorite songs and feel like a music creator. :)) Thanks for your enthusiasm!
Although I really enjoy the song suggestions, it would be fantastic if I could modify them to suit my own tastes.

@mikkel_banner That's a good idea. One way you can already kind of do this in the app is to filter your search by musical genre. This gives you genre-specific song recommendations that may suit your musical taste.
