The first official Mastodon app for iOS, with a polished look and a focus on ease of use. Getting started on the decentralized social network Mastodon has never been more straightforward!
We've worked with a team of professional UX designers for months to create an app that makes it easy for new users to get started with Mastodon. Mastodon is a decentralized social network built on open protocols, allowing you to post short text updates with pictures, videos, audio or polls to your followers across the network without any central control - any individual or organization able to host their own Mastodon server under their domain.
Great idea! The fact that Mastodon doesn't need central control, anyone like me could host their own domain is wonderful. Love the UI looks seamless, and the options to reply in GIFs and videos. I can't wait to get my community building here!
What an interesting concept! I love that it's built on open protocols and allows one to post short text updates with attachments to my followers across! Great feature of being notified on getting new followers and reposts; will definitely help me stay more connected. Getting it ASAP!
?makers Hi Eugen, I love this idea. As a fellow startup founder, I'm always looking to learn from other entrepreneurs. If you were to step into the shoes of your potential customers, how would you answer these questions regarding the problem they have which prompts them to try your product as a solution?
1. What is the context of the problem you have?
(i.e. when does this happen, at work, at school, while you're driving, while building your startup, etc.)
2. A short description of your problem (1 sentence).
3. A detailed description of your problem.
How would you answer these questions from the perspective of your customers?
I’m not a founder or even a member of the development team, but I am technically a customer! and I couldn’t resist this one.
1. Every moment of every day throughout all digital spaces, my entire adult support network is directly at the mercy of proprietary, gluttonous, unbelievably-negligent versions of the organizations that originally created the platforms we first congregated on, over ten years ago.
2. The software beneath these services is (especially in Twitter’s case) in a state of dangerous neglect, to the point of repeated daily failure.
