This has quickly become my go to Read It Later service during the beta. The ability to read and triage newsletters and read articles I saved for later all in one place is a killer combination and clears up my inbox. Loving it.

I’ve been on the betas for almost a year and trust me: This is an incredible and joyful (is that possible?!) tool. Makes it easy to save and highlight all of the articles you find. It incorporates all of your newsletters in a single place that’s far more useful than your email inbox. Plus the serendipity of finding new articles from your more intentional, literary friends makes it an all-in-one educational platform for the self-taught.

I use this product on a daily basis, it's absolutely excellent and only getting excellent-er :) Highly recommend.

Read 'it' later apps are all around for many years. What is a problem for me is; my collection rate is much much more than my consumption rate. I wonder how this one could be solved. I also wonder your strategies about beating current players, i.e. Pocket. Why would I migrate to Matter with thousands of articles waiting for me to read that I collected over years. Congrats and wish you good luck, you might need it.

Matter is undoubtedly the best thing the Internet has birthed for reading. Skilled curation, surfacing new gems from other readers, ingesting newsletters, and an ambitious whole-of+content vision. Not reading for utility. Not reading to perform for others. Reading for curiosity, joy, and discovery.

Long time user of services like Instapaper and Read It Later (that became Pocket), and found out about the beta of Matter from @mgsiegler months ago. After using the product as my primary reader now and seeing the evolution and responsiveness of @benspringwater & team, I am just adding another voice that this is a great product already with a lot of upside. Keep it up Matter team!

Hands down the best Read it Later / long-form reading app on the market these days. I beta tested while under development and am so excited that it’s now out for everyone. Go get it.

I can't quite put my finger on it, but there's something really special about the experience of reading in Matter. I've been using it for 3 weeks now and have read so many more articles and extracted a lot more knowledge than usual. I particularly like the social element as well. Getting one of the articles I shared as a "staff pick" was really cool. The team is highly active in development, and some of the features like Readwise and email subscription integration is awesome as well. Kudos to the team!

Matter is the best thing to land on my phone in the last year hands down. I've had many similar read-it-later apps in the past. Matter is the first one to have me coming back and actually reading later :) The feature set is all time (speech synthesis and easy highlighting / commenting are my faves), and the team has been shipping new capabilities at break-neck pace.
