Hey guys, Congrats on the launch, we checked the builder and it seems there are many things that are simply a copy/paste of our product which was launched 8 months ago: https://www.creative-tim.com/pro.... In the beginning, we thought it’s a simple coincidence as these sections are usually similar in this ecosystem but then we saw that you took our own texts (which are a reinterpretation of Kanye Ipsum (http://www.kanye-ipsum.com/), which is different from "Lorem Ipsum" that most templates creators use). So even if you copied from Kanye Ipsum it’s impossible to be the same texts... Here is the first example 1. Original Text on Soft UI Design System and Copied Text on MDB Builder: https://imgur.com/a/n7XDjAu. Title description buttons are identical. Then we took a closer look and found the code that is for the “gentle-wave” is the same as us, we used it from a free source on Codepen but we extended it, with our own values. We found the same values you have in your product. So you took that from us, not from the original source where it is open source. 1. Images: https://imgur.com/a/F96DvCX 2. Codepen original code Free to be used: https://codepen.io/goodkatz/pen/... - 4 waves with opacity 0.7, 0.5, 0.3 3. Creative Tim Interpreted version: https://demos.creative-tim.com/s... - 6 waves with opacity 0.40, 0.35, 0.25, 0.20, 0.15, 0.95 4. MDB Editor copied code from Creative Tim: https://mdbootstrap.com/presenta... - 6 waves with opacity 0.40, 0.35, 0.25, 0.20, 0.15, 1 Then there are other examples like the pricing section or headers that are 1-1 copied. Pricing: https://imgur.com/a/uaRWazU Another Pricing section: https://imgur.com/a/55RFtZ1 Header: https://imgur.com/a/2bMLb2o Features: the hr vertical w/ opacity has the same code as us: https://imgur.com/a/vhebzNf More copied sections can be seen here: https://demos.creative-tim.com/s... Don’t get me wrong. It’s perfectly fine to get inspiration, to add things on top of that and improve, but it’s not cool to rip off our hard work of 6 months. Hope the community will understand and will not support/upvote this kind of thing... Best, Alex

@axelut I know from my own experience how much research, effort, money, and time goes into the creative process of any product, and from what I've seen there are a lot of features that are not only inspired from but downright copied 1:1. It is true that the web industry and usually UI/UX interfaces have similarities and it is impossible to make something completely different from what already exists (it's kind of like a continuous fork based on what was already), but seeing the same text and CSS properties is definitely a red flag, especially when you are actually SELLING this. I know that @dannypostmaa had these issues with the Headlime project.

@axelut Damn! I believe it's a blunder by one of his team members or unintentional?! We also follow and get inspirations from similar products and templates. But, directly copy-pasting same codebase/design is really unexpected from such prestigious creators. Disappointed ☹️

@musharofchy don't know what is there, but doesn't look professional at all

Hello @axelut, Some of the elements of the code look very similar, indeed. We will check this thoroughly in order to make sure that no code has been copied & pasted, and we will modify the landing page. I have to be honest and say that we do not check where the designers get their inspirations but copy-pasting is of course forbidden so the case of the waves is worrying and will be examined closely. When it comes to the Design Blocks, I have to oppose a bit because most of these blocks are a very common layout, and majority of these are actually our old Design Blocks from Bootstrap v4 (released years ago) that have been rewritten to work with Bootstrap v5. As you've said ripping off is not cool, and if we find that some of the code was indeed copied & pasted we will get rid of it ASAP. Please know that there was no ill intent on our part.

@m_leciejewski great! agree 100% as @zolidev said, many things/blocks/sections/elements already exist in the market, and that's perfectly fine, we cannot invent new things. But please check the print screens and you will see where the code has been copied. We are good if you do your research and repair those with your own things.

Excellent work as with all your other projects at MDB :D

Your component collection looks great. Little feedback: Clicking on Demo button goes to 'Access Restricted' page. And too many popups about offers, surveys, thats bit annoying.

Many of the components look like a one-on-one copy of Soft UI by @axelut and his team. As someone who is active in the same market, I know that creating good looking UI elements can take months of designing, developing and testing, and I fully understand and support CreativeTim in this matter.

Looks like a great alternative to other builders. I put it on my watch list.

Yeah, this product does seem like a copycat of what @axelut mentioned above.
