Excited to be on PH again with the next Mercury launch! Mercury’s focus on building banking for startups comes down to understanding that startups need more than the offerings of a traditional bank. SAFEs are now an integral part of securing early-stage financing, and the integration of SAFEs by Mercury into founders’ existing Mercury accounts will help founders get venture capital money right where they need it, without messy tracking spreadsheets and awkward text exchanges. This launch is about giving founders the right tools integrated into existing workflows to create an added layer of efficiency that doesn’t exist with current SAFE offerings on the market.

SAFEs by Mercury was a fun feature to design and build with @rshaked, @rywiggs, and our Growth team. We wanted to explore a way for founders to do early fundraising but in a streamlined and focused way when launched SAFEs in August. Now we're excited to share a way for anyone to explore our SAFE tool and create free SAFE documents. We love listening to and learning from our customers. We've been using Carta for Mansion (our startup), but the simplicity and UI by @jdsimcoe and the Mercury team are the best in class IMHO. They bring everything down to the jobs to be done, integrate it seamlessly into the core Mercury product, and don't complicate things with feature over load. Thanks for building this feature @immad; our counsel is looking at changing to using Mercury asap to speed up funding and keep it simple (we'll still use Carta for the cap table management parts) as we finish our SAFE fundraising over the next few months. Disclosure: I was a seed investor in Mercury through AngelList back in the day, so rooting them on as our bank at Mansion and as a very very very small investor.

Mercury is the best bank for entrepreneurs and startups, bar none, plus the ability to integrate SAFEs directly into your bank account goes a long way to simplifying and accelerating early stage financing. Congrats!

This looks like the creation, promotion and solicitation of unregistered or non-exempt securities offerings and is incredibly reckless. I'm sure the SEC will be very curious since Mercury is not a Funding Portal, nor Broker-Dealer and not an Investment Advisory. This appears to be "Legal Zoom" wrapped up with some really bad advice....

Been a Mercury user for a year and extremely thrilled I got in (especially after what happened with Silicon Valley bank and other traditional financial institutions in the process.) A rapid growth of startup rounds, funding opportunities for startups, and now extensive tooling for funding. Great job @immad and team.

Congratulations to Mercury on the launch of their new SAFE fundraising services! Its user-friendly dashboard makes the entire process more efficient and enjoyable for startup founders. I'm sure many people will appreciate this added convenience.
