Hey, @amimran! When I first heard about Minbox, it was a mobile email app (around the same time as Mailbox, I think). Curious to hear the story of how you pivoted to where you are today.
@amimran off topic UX feedback, I clicked the " go pro" link on the homepage, but was confused, because I couldn't see any text... only after 10+ seconds.
It looks like https://minbox.com/pro's background photo is a whopping 3,5MB. So before that is completely loaded users see a white text on a white background.
Sure @rrhoover : Long road to where we are now. We started in the email space and realized that the likelihood of a great outcome was lower than we thought. Successful products in the space really weren't that successful (read Sparrow). So we repurposed our tech and zoomed in on file sharing.
Minbox 2 has been in the making for way too long. It's just the start of where we want to go with file sharing and collaboration.
Stay tuned for some (really) exciting updates in the near future!
@TheKaranGoel The free level just limits how long files are stored for. There is no limit on how much you can send, but large files will expire anywhere from 2 days (4+ GB) to 30 days (100MB+).
