Excellent brain games that help you improve in 4 key areas - problem solving, speed, attention and memory. Haven't tried any of the recipes yet though.
@craigdeakin thank you ππΌ You should definitely try one of the recipes! And let us know what you think! We obviously love them and canβt get enough π
@caryylin excellent question! While Lumosity provides excellent games, they donβt provide exercises, recipes or health tips to their end users. Our app is so much more than just games and in fact, itβs just a small portion of what we have to offer. Many people that use mindmate also feel that the Lumosity games are too hard for them.
MindMate makes it easy for baby boomers to stay on top of their brain health. Recent research suggests that a combination of physical exercises, healthy nutrition and brain games can reduce the risk of developing a dementia in later life.
Mindmate We created our app, because my cofounder Roger saw first hand what Alzheimerβs looks like and how lost his grandfather but also his family was. Based on his experience, and also @patrickrenner experience in nursing homes, we decided to create mindmate in 2015 to help baby boomers be more active and reduce the risk of developing dementia. We based this on the finger study that showed that a mix of physical activity, a healthy diet and games can reduce the risk of developing a dementia.
Hi @ben_taylor10 ππΌ yes, the app is available worldwide. HOWEVER, we only provide it in English, Spanish and German. We do have other languages on our radar though.
The mindmate app is the best product on the market to keep your mind (brain games) and body (recipes and exercise tips) healthy by using fun and engaging methods that can be used at any age!
The MindMate app contains many helpful resources for baby boomers who want to keep fit and healthy. You can access a curated list of tasty and healthy food recipes, as well as body exercises for optimal health. Whether it is your mind or body, the app encourages you to maintain an active lifestyle.
We love this comment @travis_proctor. Because you mentioned day to day life. We have a daily activities plan that people can use so that they know what they should accomplish. It includes for example physical exercises (we also offer seated exercises for people that have difficulties standing), health tips, a recipe to cook at home and of course fun and interactive games π
