This is a great concept! How about adding a feature that suggests personalized self-care activities based on the insights gathered from the user's journal entries? It could help users prioritize their well-being and thrive even more.
Monica Kim
@ema_elisi Absolutely. That's exactly on our pipeline.

Congrats on the launch, @monkim! Me.bot’s approach to capturing and connecting thoughts is truly innovative. The ability to track mood, health, and skills over time is a fantastic feature. I’m curious, how customizable are the daily tips and news it curates? Can users tailor these to their specific interests and needs?

I see what you're trying to do with this app, it has potential, but honestly I worry about the privacy implications of having something capturing your thoughts and pics all the time, what kind of safeguards are in place for user data, also it might be better if it could integrate with other apps more seamlessly like most people already use existing journaling tools, why switch to this one?
Monica Kim
@estarceo Hi Ram. This is truly both our priority and a hard task. We adopt E2E encryption and data masking to prevent any parties from access users' data. The differentiator of this app is that it's more personalized, giving inspirations and tips based on the entires.

I get the idea of capturing thoughts through pics and notes but isn't that kinda invasive, like how much of my personal life is gonna be stored, and do we really need another app doing this, what about privacy settings, any plans to add more control for users

Looks like another app trying to tell us who we are, don't we already have enough of those, and how accurate can it really be anyway curious to see if this will stand out or just be more noise
Monica Kim
@sportexec2023 Hi Nathalie. Thanks for the critical feedback. Indeed, we hope to reduce noise, or in other words, turn digital noise into a mirror.

Looks very promising! Is it possible to export diary entries in a machine-readable (JSON or XML) or human-readable (Google Doc) formats? Curious because my concern with indie apps that store data is that they can shut down and take all my data with them...
Monica Kim
@ilya_bez Yes! Right now you can contact us for exporting, and soon we will create a portal where you can migrate data on your own.
Frank
Not sure if I'm the only one seeing this, but it's like another data collector in disguise, everyone loves insights until they realize the tradeoff with privacy, let's see how it goes 💡

Hey, I stumbled upon your platform while browsing, it's quite impressive how it captures personal insights and shows a better version of oneself, would love to know if there are any plans for including voice notes or maybe even a community feature, keep up the great work
Monica Kim
@brandboostvp Hi Eric! Yes, you can use voice note for input. A community feature is in progress with sharing features on the way. Thank you for supporting us.

Congrats on the launch! Me.bot sounds like an incredible tool for anyone looking to stay mindful and organized. The dynamic timeline feature is a brilliant way to visualize progress over time. I'm interested in knowing, does it have options for exporting data or integrating with other platforms for backup? @monkim

I get the whole idea of connecting thoughts for better self-understanding, but honestly isn't this similar to Day One or Reflectly? They've been around for ages and have a pretty solid user base, curious how this will stack up against them, Also since the founder mentioned monetizing, won't ads or paid features just turn people off, What's the big plan here, Hope it's more than just another journaling app, thoughts on how it actually stands out?
Monica Kim
@datafunmaker Hi Matt. That's really a good reminder for us to highlight our differentiator. You can take Me.bot as an interactive journal which gives you more perspectives and tips based on your prior entry.

So cool! Congrats on the launch team 🙌
