@mrdobelina Haha, perfect!

@miniaturemail I love the idea. I run Letterjoy.co and would love to talk to you about some potential partnerships.
Justin Powell
@msitver Your service looks very interesting, I'd love to discuss potential partnerships!

Never received mine :/

Love it! I hope the line breaks will be on the finished result, cause during the checkout they didn't get displayed anymore in the message 😬
Justin Powell
@dylan36032 Absolutely! I've done extensive testing and development to ensure the preview is true-to-life for the finished product. :) It would be great to be able to preview/verify/edit the letter from the checkout process though...I should enhance that.

Edited- Order placed - wished it had faster shipping.
Justin Powell
@androidlove Thanks for the interesting feedback. The extended shipping time was a buffer to give us time to catch our balance and make sure we have the kinks ironed out...we got a lot of unexpected order volume. We'd rather make people wait for something nice than over-promise and under-deliver. :) The shipping time will be shorter in the future.

@matthieudeluze Thank you Matthieu!

This is awesomely clever! I can think of a dozen different uses (business AND personal!) off the top of my head -- what fun!

Congrats on the launch, great idea! I just placed my first order, would like to suggest an edit option at check out and a more clear differentiation between whats a to: and from: address label.
Chris Anderson
I agree with @madebycamilo. Wasn't immediately clear that I had to select to ship to a different address in order to mail to the intended recipient. Perhaps make that the default selection? Or remove the ability to ship to billing address altogether? Doubt many will be send the letter to themselves. Really cool idea, though! Looking forward to my wife's reaction when she receives her tiny letter! Thanks!
Justin Powell
@cbejarano_ai You're right, we desperately need integration with the editor during checkout flow. And you're also right about the need for a more streamlined and clear address entry process. Thanks for the order and feedback!
Justin Powell
@madebycamilo @raleighing Thanks for the order! You're right about the address confusion, I will work on getting this corrected.
Shravan P
@miniaturemail, Yup. just placed the order and I was confused about the address label too. It took the shipping address as billing address by default and I received fraud alert from chase to approve/deny the transaction as the billing address doesnt match. Great idea btw, I loved it! I tried adding a heart emoji (❀️) but I dont think it is supported yet?. It would be a great to send emojis in miniature mail.
Justin Powell
@shra1 Awesome, thank you for the feedback. I will work on the addressing issue as soon as possible. And you're totally right, emojis should be supported!

Hilarious, and also: Ordering one right now, to my wife for our anniversary.
Justin Powell
@troy_lakey Awesome, thanks for your order!

Great idea Justin! Perfect as a mailing to someone special in your life.

Really cool idea! I would actually do something like this to send to my VIP customers as something unique....but the price is too high. You should think about ways to cater to businesses and offer discounts in volume. Thinking something like Mail Joy (http://www.mailjoy.com/), but for your product. I can see somebody copying the idea quickly if you don't move fast and keep it as best of market.
Justin Powell
@callmedpit Thanks for the feedback; this is definitely on our radar. Out if curiosity, what price point would you expect for a bulk batch b2b? Also, would you require any customization of the mailing enclosure (i.e., your own company's logo and return address label instead of ours)?
Andre Goersch

The letter is just very cute. As I mentioned above, the price of $10 for something so small is a little more than ideal, but it's still within the range I'm comfortable with, but the reaction I got from my wife, to whom I had said "I got you a little something, it will be on the mail", was totally worth it.

If you want to offer someone an unexpected gift, this might be a good pick.

Pros:

Charming product, great quality prints, good packaging.

Cons:

$10 per letter is not *expensive*, but I'd like to see it go lower.

Andre Goersch
Kinda unfortunate that I didn't discover this until today, it would have been great to send to my wife for Mother's Day, but there are no available shipping dates for the next week or two. If I can give you a recommendation, whatever is that spinning wheel thing you have on the website, remove it. I don't know what is the worst part about it: how it looks like a super invasive giant ad with no text, or the fact that it keeps reopening after I click outside to dismiss it. That pop-up looks extremely shady, and it makes me want to not use the service at all. If that was created by you, make it unobtrusive and optional instead of something that keeps interrupting the user experience.
Justin Powell
@divinoag I hear you about the popup. It needs a lot of work, although I'm not sure about removing it completely. I actually asked the developer who created it whether they could add a feature to disable for a cool-down period after dismissal, but they deferred...I'll probably edit the source myself. Thanks for the feedback. If you'd still like to order one I can work you in for shipping tomorrow, just send a support email mentioning this conversation. Not sure how many days it would take to arrive but I send them First Class.

I just love this idea way too much! Perfect focus on message, using the cutest delivery method...kinda nostalgic, kinda silly, way too cute to ignore! The delivery packaging idea is just as brilliant. I'll be trying it out some time, I know people who would love them, I can see them treasuring this tiny gesture, the words, the old school letter with a twist...Again, I love it! Good work! ;)
Adriana Patterson
This would be awesome for tooth fairy letters!πŸ˜‰ If you had some templates directed towards kids I’d definitely be interested.
Justin Powell
@aspatterson More designs are planned, but we have so much to do! Hopefully in the near future.
