Jeff Chow here, CPTO of Miro, and I’m beyond thrilled to share a major platform update: the Intelligent Canvas. This isn’t just any update; it’s a complete revamp of the heart and soul of Miro — the canvas itself.
Innovation is more crucial than ever. Our customers tell us Miro is where ideas and innovation start. But teams do more than brainstorm. As they progress from ideation to decision and execution, switching between different tools creates silos, disrupts team alignment, and reduces efficiency.
With this launch, we are starting on the journey to connect the dots throughout the experience. A single platform to help you from idea to outcome.
We’re thrilled to introduce the Intelligent Canvas, an AI-powered tool designed to help teams ideate, iterate, and deliver faster. By activating teams to co-create and deeply engage, it integrates AI into the fabric of the canvas to enhance cross-functional collaboration and speed up decision-making.
The Intelligent Canvas has three key components:
1. An upgraded canvas that’s more inclusive and intuitive
2. Composable workflows to streamline the process from discovery to delivery
3. AI that’s deeply embedded in the team work on the canvas
Some highlights of the Intelligent Canvas I’m particularly excited to share:
✨ Create with AI - Generate or synthesize content into diagrams, images, stickies or documents. Whether its user stories, product brief, or flow chart, just select the context on the board or give a text prompt and watch the content being drafted before your eyes in minutes.
🤩 AI Sidekicks - Instant, AI-powered help on your work, with the perspective of pros like an agile coach or product leader. They appear on the canvas like real colleagues. And it’s built with partners like Product Marketing Alliance to enhance Miro AI with credible domain knowledge input.
⚡ Conversation summaries - Use AI to summarize your long comment threads, so you can quickly grasp the main points and prioritize your work more efficiently.
🌟 Intelligent templates - These new templates are supercharged with AI, interactive tools, and integrations — turning standardized best practices into powerful, automated, scalable workflows. You can find these built for everything from sprint planning to retros to customer journey mapping. And we’ve got even more coming.
💫 Intelligent widgets - A brand new set of multiplayer tools like polling, story points, and timeline with an upgraded experience that make them easier and faster to use, and way more interactive. These widgets can also connect to each other and can be used separately or as building blocks that make up Intelligent templates.
🙌 Spaces - Spaces consolidates all boards and content of a project into a central hub accessible from any board from the sidebar. Now, team members can quickly find all project context without needing to ask, fostering alignment even as plans evolve.
