This looks really interesting. ?makers What sort of remote work structure do you have at Miro?
Anna Boyarkina
Hey @calum ! Hollis from Miro here. We're a distributed team working across five hubs (SF, LA, Austin, Amsterdam and Perm), and rely heavily on a combo of Slack/Zoom/Miro in our day-to-day to stay aligned and updated on project progress. We tend to operate on the "baton-pass" tactic (as I like to call it), taking advantage of our 13 hour time zone span to have a 24 hour work cycle: when I'm headed to bed in LA, I pass off work to designers in Amsterdam, who then pass off to Perm for dev, and by the time I wake up, we're ready for a V2! Pretty cool.

Language and culture barriers is one aspect of setting up a remote team that troubles me a lot. ?makers any plans to share your experience with this in this guide?
Sarah Beldo

Hi, PH community! At Miro, we work as a distributed team across 5 hubs and multiple timezones. That means a loooooot of remote meetings, workshops, onboarding … basically, remote everything. It's been a journey! With so many folks currently adapting to working remotely, we thought it was the perfect time to publish some of our proven tips and learnings – plus curate the best advice from other companies who are masters at collaborating from multiple locations. Please take a look and let us know what you think! What did we miss? What do you want to hear more about? We will be adding more chapters over the next few weeks. β€” the Content team at Miro

What remote job would you be able to suggest for an understudy? I'm a full-time undergrad and go to school classes. I can't work in an office or some place full-time and chose to search for remote work on remotehub choices. What callings would you be able to exhort me? I truly appreciate working from a distance.
