We are a pair of Stanford applied ML Ph.D. and MBA working on MLPro to connect vetted talent in machine learning and data science with companies. Having been on both sides as a candidate and a hiring manager, we want to help every talent stand out beyond their resume by showcasing on-the-job skills while significantly improving hiring efficiency for employers. Due to a lack of hiring experience and tools, most companies don't know how to quantify ML and data science skills and thus rely on traditional credentials and pedigree to make hiring decisions. As a result, the entire industry is chasing after less than 20% of the already limited talent pool. This has put smaller companies at significant disadvantages vs. FAANG. We want to enable all companies to access the entire talent pool and effectively source and screen the best talent based on quantified skills that are better indicators of on-the-job performance with our automated platform while providing a simplified application process for candidates. We look beyond candidates' pedigree and traditional credentials by: 1. Quantifying and standardizing their machine learning and data science skills with the industry's only open-ended coding challenges for each subdomain that more accurately predict their on-the-job performance. 2. Building the industry's common application platform where talents can showcase their technical competency beyond their resume and streamline the interview process. 3. Building the largest global machine learning and data science talent community and connecting candidates to global freelance or full-time opportunities on one platform.
