Hey PH Community! Happy to be here and really excited for this launch. I'm Pietro, and I started MobiLoud to help businesses skip the hassles and costs normally associated with building an app. Traditional native development is a financial black hole and demands constant, costly maintenance. It's also difficult to showcase ROI if you're spending $10k+ a month just on content updates and added team workload. Standard block-based app builders? They box you in, their capabilities limited by platform restrictions. You're also left doing the work yourself - building from scratch even though your website is already optimized. Our hybrid app platform lets you take advantage of all the hard work you've already done. You get an app that's flexible, easy to maintain, and automatically updates with no additional effort. We also believe in making the process as easy as possible with our expert team handling the entire app submission process and ongoing maintenance of your app. 🤔 Who is MobiLoud for? If you have an online business with an optimized website, you can have a mobile app. Growing ecommerce brands, B2B marketplaces, online publications, web apps, or any other web-based business are a perfect fit! 📱 Why should I build a mobile app? A mobile app is a great additional channel to add to your marketing mix. It's great for boosting brand visibility, offers a direct channel to engage your users, and caters to a growing mobile-first audience. You get to live in their pockets and make it easy for them to reengage with your brand. There are also a ton of other benefits which I'm happy to chat about anytime! ✨ What makes MobiLoud a good choice? I could go on for hours, but here are some reasons I think you'll like us: --> You only need to maintain your website so you're never duplicating efforts or worrying about updates. --> We work with most major web-based technologies and can even handle the niche ones! --> We make it easy to give your mobile-only users an app that doesn't break the bank --> Personalized push notifications are THE reason to have a mobile app and you get that with our Onesignal integration. 🎁 Exclusive Product Hunt offer: 15% off all our plans for the next 7 days! You can get started by previewing your app with our app preview tool: https://canvas.mobiloud.com/ or booking a demo with our team. Use your code when booking your call and we'll apply your discount when you decide to work with us! We look forward to your ideas and feedback. Thanks!

@jonathan_prime thanks for the question Jonathan! I'd say we are quite affordable for small businesses, but it really depends on what your expectations are. We've got three pricing plans: Startup, Growth and Corporate depending on what you need. We also charge a one-time app submission fee since we handle the submission process for you. If you would rather be completely hands off, you can also opt-in for our full service package (most of our customers do) where we configure and customize your app and do all the work required to prepare a professional app store listing. While we aren't the cheapest solution on the market I like to think we're pricing ourselves right based on the value we provide :). I have 2 questions- 1. Which websites/platforms are best suited for your services? 2. Do you offer any discounts to startups/small businesses? Congrats on the launch @psaccomani
Pietro Saccomani
@sourabh_upreti thank you! 1. any web platform or tech stack that gets you a fast, well designed mobile site 2. we don't offer discounts (except for this week's launch!), so our entry price is our Startup plan at 200/mo or 170/mo when paid annually upfront - with the PH discount + annual it's $144/mo We're not the cheapest, but any business at the level where an app makes sense should see an immediate ROI. We offer a lot of service and support and our customers value that.
Big congratulations to team MobiLoud on the Producthunt launch! 🎉 Your service offers a compact solution for brands looking to expand their reach. One suggestion: how about offering previews or mock-ups within your portal for businesses to see how their app might look before completely converting the site? It could be a great way to boost confidence in your brand, especially for those still on the fence. Keep up the great work!
Pietro Saccomani
@manmohit thank you Manmohit, that's exactly what we do and what this launch is for, you can get your own preview here: https://canvas.mobiloud.com/

Hey Guys! Good launch. Did you mean in under a minute above in the sub-heading, instead of in under a month??
Pietro Saccomani
@viks_rum thanks for the question! The process of converting your website to an app is pretty quick but we are accounting for all the additional work required to actually successfully launch on the App Store or Google Play. That includes: - The app build - Preparing the app for submission - Handling any back and forth with Apple or Google's team - Preparing your app store listing - Making any final changes And a few other steps that are crucial to make sure you don't run into any major issues with your launch. The time to launch can also vary depending on the complexity of the website, but we generally get most apps approved within the month :)
Shital Gohil
congratulations on the launch, this is amazing one can convert website into app. is there any limitations on number of pages one can convert?
Pietro Saccomani
@shitalgohil thank you! No limitations. Anything on your site can be in the app, but you can also pick individual pages/sections, or build some specifically for the app - you choose.
Anna Kasumova
I’ve never seen such category of products. Interesting to know that it’s possible. Congrats on the launch guys
Pietro Saccomani
@anna_kasumova thank you!!
Philipp John
Awesome, congrats on the launch! I assume you'd need full access to the backend / APIs, correct? What mobile stack are you working with?
Pietro Saccomani
@philipp_john no we don't, our platform adds what your web app or website is missing to be able to have it running as a mobile app, from the same codebase - native navigation, push notifications, user settings, etc. And our team handles the whole app build and submission process to get the apps live approved and maintained over time. Any API based approach will be very limiting. Hard to make a general statement, it's always specific to the site/app, but while a custom native app could potentially be flexible enough to do what your site does, it will be very slow and expensive to keep in sync with new site features. Any API based app builder with pre-built blocks/elements will be very limited by trying to build a feature set for multiple customers and use cases - so unlikely to fit your specific use case. Our approach has proven to be the most flexible, if you value being able to have an app as good as your site, with the same feature set, and updating automatically over time, without any additional work.

Launching soon!
Congratulations on the launch! I love the initiative of making design / development of complex technical products more accessible to the no-code / non-technical community. Keep up the great work!!
Rahul Luthra
Great stuff! Love that you guys have the pricing on the website as a productized service! Helps filter out people who can actually afford your pricing :). Good luck with the launch 🚀
Pietro Saccomani
@rahul_luthra thank you Rahul - agreed, we like the clarity this creates - there are cheaper options, we're different and charge more because of how much service and support we provide along with the platform.

Interesting product! And a controversial area, since some people look down on RN or Flutter as not fully capable of certain things compared to native apps, while others from the Flutter and RN world look down on webview projects. I wonder what primary use case do you see for MobiLoud? And in what cases you wouldn’t advise using it? Thx
Pietro Saccomani
@max_kotin thanks for the great questions! I’ve tried to address each of your thoughts below but let me know if you’d like me to dive deeper into anything. --- RN and Flutter: You're right - there's often a debate between RN, Flutter, and native development. MobiLoud offers a different approach. While RN and Flutter are fantastic for building from scratch with a native feel, MobiLoud focuses on leveraging what businesses already have: a functional website. It's about extending your web presence to mobile without having to rebuild. --- On Webview: I get the skepticism around this. In the past, webviews had limitations and performance issuss, but the tech has come a long way. A modern website offers great performance and a user experience that is often app-like so webview/hybrid apps are a great way explore a new channel without massive investment. They’re much easier to maintain for most teams especially those who don’t have or don’t want to build dedicated app teams. We’ve also done our best to enhance the webview experience to make it smooth and efficient. It's not just about wrapping a website; it's about optimizing that experience for mobile users, ensuring it feels integrated and native. --- Who it's for? I'd say that if you have a web app or online business e.g. e-commerce, the question shouldn't be "What's the best tech stack or platform to build the perfect native app?" It should be, "What lets me focus on delivering great products without adding to my workload and slowing down the business?". It's about only building once and simply extending those changes to your mobile experience. Imagine an ecommerce website that can't use crucial code from their website or a web app that's always improving while the app lags behind. Both of these could lead to significant impacts on revenue and user experience. Native apps also require a huge upfront investment - they are slow and expensive to build and maintain. This could potentially leave you stuck with something inefficient, that slows down the business and ends up costing money over the long run in terms of missed opportunities and a poor UX vs what web users get. --- When is it not a good fit? The reality is that while MobiLoud is versatile, it works best when you have a well optimized web experience and good mobile design. MobiLoud is not designed to build any app - if you don't have an existing website you can't use MobiLoud yet. It's really a solution for businesses that already have a successful website or web app and see the potential in mobile apps (to grow engagement, improve UX, use push notifications, satisfy customer demand, etc...) but would never see an ROI from replicating their work in a native app. --- Bit of a lengthy response, but I hope that answers some of your questions Max. Appreciate the engagement and support!
Max Kotin
@psaccomani thanks a lot for such a detailed response! I definitely need to take another look at webview tech... Ironically, we just axed our mobile app in our small company exactly due to the same reason: too expensive to develop and maintain, even when it's build on Flutter. Now our strategy is 100% web app. Who knows, maybe one day we'll become one of your clients. Good luck!
