Highly recommend product! I’ve been using it & making high-quality mock-up videos with it. As producer & video-editor, i’ve always wanted to use something that saves time, it exports smoothly & quickly! The ready made templates helps me to decide!
The Figma plugin for the 3D mock-up images works easily. Just select the device & select the loading images and done!
Great pricing & affordable! I can’t wait for more future updates! Congratulations on the launch! Much love from Singapore 🇸🇬✨🎉
👋 Hey hunters!
I'm excited to share a project I've been working on for over a year and a half! I started working on MockRocket after years of frustration creating product videos and mockups for my apps.
Tools like After Effects and Photoshop always required hours of tedious work and hit-or-miss templates. Meanwhile, the existing mockup generators on the market left a lot to be desired. So I quit my software engineering job to work on this problem full time, and today, I'm the full time founder, engineer and customer support rep at MockRocket!
📱MockRocket is a web-based tool to help you show off your app in jaw-dropping 3D.
Create 3D image mockups or animated video clips–great for product videos, landing pages, social media, pitch decks, app store previews, and UX portfolios.
MockRocket's drag and drop 3D editor is super easy to use–no experience necessary.
🤯 Just choose a template, drag and drop a video or image file, and watch it come to life on the screen of a stunning 3D device model (iPhone, Android, MacBook, etc). Export minutes later in up to 4K resolution.
And if you consider yourself a pro, you'll find yourself right at home with powerful animation controls and settings.
🔥 Highlights:
➟ Super high quality. Fast exports up to 4K resolution.
➟ Easy to use.
➟ Animations & stills.
➟ Web-based. Use it on both Mac and Windows, and even inside Figma!
➟ 100% design privacy. Your uploaded designs stay on your computer.
➟ Startup-friendly pricing
➟ Ever-expanding library of templates and 3D device models.
➟ Customize colors and device styles to match your brand.
➟ Advanced controls: Transparency, shadows, reflections, keyframes, easing modes, lighting and more.
✍️ MockRocket comes with a powerful Figma plugin. Create image mockups with the power of MockRocket in 2 clicks, without leaving Figma.
🚀 Since launching, MockRocket has been adopted by UX designers and marketers at companies small and large–from startups of 1 to top tech companies like Meta and Netflix.
It's been a blast working with customers to refine to roadmap. We've got a ton of exciting features in the pipeline for 2022, including some 🔥 features to enable complete product video creation as well as some obvious next steps like project saving and more templates, device models and export formats!

@derek_feehrer Such a wonderful product! I am a designer and in continuous need of 3D mockups to set my designs. Will surely use this amazing thing. Kudos to creators!
I found out about MockRocket on Twitter a few weeks ago and tried the Figma plug-in. It was super easy to use. A few days later, I signed up for the pro tier and used the web app to make a slick product video. In only a few hours, I had multiple awesome product demos.
This product is legit. Also, @derek_feehrer has been really helpful when I want to give feedback or suggest features.
@sarahbondksu This is amazing! I've already started to play around with it. I'll show you some of my exports in the morning!
My only negative feedback is that you have to leave the tab maximized and open while it exports. I'm too used to multitasking during exports I think.
@sarahbondksu@lucky__angi Totally understand, that’s a limitation of the browser unfortunately. But you can actually still multitask with it–what I do is drag the MockRocket tab out of the Chrome window it’s in to create a separate Window with just the MockRocket tab. Then I just leave that window in the background and go about my normal work. As long as the MockRocket tab is selected in a Chrome window, the export will work, even if it’s in the background.
I’m also working on a native Mac and Windows versions which should eliminate this issue altogether and bring some extra render speed and file format improvements. Stay tuned!
Congrats Derek! This app really pushes the boundaries of what you can do in a browser. I tried it and it just works exactly how I would expect. Really intuitive interface, great design and satisfying experience. For someone who doesn’t use photoshop this is a no brainer for my next project.
@aleksi_halsas1 There are still codes left! It works with the Images & Videos plan with Yearly billing (not monthly). The pricing page has a toggle to switch to yearly billing. The price should show $290 / yr when you click the upgrade button, then enter the code in the checkout to take it down to $58 / yr. Let me know if you have any issues!
Amazing! This tool gives so many opportunities in a quick and creative expressions for marketing needs! *_* Congrats on the launch! ^_^ Is it possible to export a creation as a gif file? ^_^
@satyendra_sahani It has a built in library of 3D device models, so no need to import any 3D models of your own. You can import videos and image files (PNG, JPEG, MP4, MOV, WEBM, etc) and have them appear on the device screens. You can export both images and videos (PNG, MP4, WEBM, PNG Sequences, etc)
@satyendra_sahani There's a built in form to request new device models. Do you have a device in mind that you'd like me to add?
Right now MockRocket is laser focused on device mockups for apps and making that as simple as possible, so it's not a general purpose 3D editor. But it's possible we go in that direction down the road. Haven't thought too much about it but in the general case it could make sense to let users import their own 3D models. Is that what you're looking for?
