Mockup is a UI/UX design sketching app designed for iPad & Apple Pencil. With Mockup, you can ideate, sketch an entire process, and blueprint your next app or web design all in one.
Hi there, Product Hunters!
I am absolutely thrilled to re-introduce Mockup, a UI & UX design sketching app for iPad and Apple Pencil.
I’ve always started my app design process with sketching. Unfortunately, this was met with lots and lots of paper usage, which somehow limited and bounded my work process.
That’s when it hit me: building an app that fulfilled the UI & UX sketching approach without the paper constraints. And that’s how Mockup came to view.
It is indeed the ideal app to brainstorm and blueprint app designs. Mockup enables developers and designers to sketch their apps on device templates to visualize their ideas within their intended frames. More than 40 device frame templates are available to fit your needs.
Mockup puts simple, clear, powerful, and constructive controls front row.
It is jam-packed with features designed to make the sketching process easier, such as the various drawing tools to bring the spot-on UI & UX designs forward, flexible canvas, quick actions, and controls that suit designers' purposes.
Mockup introduces elements including images, text, and symbols for sleek sketching. Create, save, and reuse them while delivering clean, consistent, ready-to-render sketches.
When we talk about Mockup, we talk about flawless layouts with snap to grid and a smooth flow with shape detection.
It adopts desktop-class features with center items and title menu to optimize the sketching experience as well as a seamless experience with SharePlay.
Sketched mockups can be exported and shared in high quality as PDF files or PNG. Sharable Mockup files are also available. And of course, it supports iCloud sync.
I can't wait to hear what you say and, even more, see what you do with the app.
Can't wait to try this - im often very conflicted between wanting to have a computer and the ability to freestyle draw out layouts and this looks like it combines the best of both worlds!
Having a professional looking wireframe is a must when it comes to communicate with client with the design idea this this helps just right with that. Good luck!
