Hello PH Community! Today we're launching Kimchi, a Messenger bot that helps you discover and listen to podcasts. We've built a library of 200,000+ episodes that you can access and explore right from Messenger, you can subscribe to podcasts you like, save episodes for later, share episodes with your friends, and of course get notified on new episodes from your subscriptions. One more thing, we've also got an iOS companion app if you want a native listening experience. We're excited about this, building Kimchi bot was a result of many trials and errors, It would be great ito give it a try and let us know with your feedback in the comments. Happy listening!

Honest feedback: it's cute, hella cute, but clunky. Stuff that I can do with a custom designed podcast player in 10 seconds, takes a minute. It's a fun experiment, I love the puns, I love the animation, but it's just not a very good podcast experience.

@andreasduess Hey Andreas, we appreciate your feedback, would love to hear more about the glitches you had in your experience as this will give us room to improve πŸ˜„

@amaboura I don't think there's much that can be done. You're using a chat environment for something it just isn't designed to do. In my podcast player, things are optimized for speed and usability, in a chat app things are optimized for chatting. As I've said, I love the humor and the whimsical nature of the work - just not the functionality.
