💬The Story
I created MoveWell after destroying my peroneal tendon mid-race during a worldwide ultra marathon challenge. I managed to finished the race, but could barely walk afterwards and I had to do 6 months of physical therapy & mobility work to work myself back up to full strength. However, I was able to finish the project, raise $200k charity and become the youngest person in the world to run an ultra marathon on every continent.
There was only one problem - I was great at doing rehab when I was going to expensive physical therapy sessions, but *absolutely terrible* at doing them on my own at home.
That said - even though it was critical to my rehab, I realized I absolutely *hated* doing mobility work on my own.
🛠The Solution
* We built MoveWell to help make this easier for everyone. Most people know they should do foam rolling or mobility work but don't know where to start.
* We build "custom stacks" of individual movements with timers around specific issues you might have so you know exactly what to do and how long to do it for - so you're not just staring at your foam roller not knowing what to do with it.
* We're constantly adding to this and always looking for feedback so if you see a routine missing or want us to create one for a specific issue you might have - let me know :).
