Hey there! My name is Kel and while casually browsing YouTube, I was recommended a video (I forgot who the creator was) that talked about "The Golden Age of The Internet". I was too young to fully comprehend what was happening in 2007 internet. However, this video made me realise that that was the best time to be online. And after studying the history of social media websites and after watching other videos on the subject, I've come to the conclusion that nothing today exists that has the same vibe. Where you are truly free to be yourself and where you can freely express your creativity. Today's internet is corporate - it's about advertisers and not the people. Msukwini was inspired by SpaceHey, which itself is a nostalgia website based on MySpace. I never got to use MySpace, but I've been using SpaceHey for a couple of weeks and I've been almost addicted. As a person who's only ever experienced the clean and polished look of the modern web, the website looks very archaic to a point where it affects usability. That's why I created Msukwini, a more modern looking website that, I hope, will attract the younger generation in order to show them what the internet can be. I honestly think that there is a market for this type of website even in today's world. People, especially my generation, crave individuality. Create your own customised Pozi (custom CSS and HTML is supported!), and share your creations with our community, free from all the negativity present in many platforms. Msukwini is a hangout for the based. I'll add and open up more features in the coming days and weeks! See you on Msukwini.com ✌ Kel
