PowerMate Bluetooth — Turn it like a knob, tap it like a mouse. A Mac power tool.

"The perfect compliment to a keyboard and mouse is this all-purpose knob from Griffin. The PowerMate first showed up as a USB-tethered Apple accessory years ago—this is the Bluetooth version. You can program it to do anything: scroll Safari, switch desktops, scrub a video timeline. I have it set to adjust my Mac's master volume, because there's no more satisfying feeling than twisting a heavy, polished-metal knob when Van Halen's 'Panama" kicks in.'" — Michael Calore Note: It looks like it has some low ratings from months ago, but that they've addressed the related issues. Has anyone tried it?

I would love to hook this into "FastLane"

I fail to see what it adds compared to a mouse, except the feeling... and I have to say the Van Halen example is pretty on-point to convey that! I wouldn't buy it, but I'm very wary of buying physical products in the first place anyway.

@thibautdavoult Watching the videos really helped me to understand how it would help users become more efficient.

@thibautdavoult The mouse doesn't handle long linear very well. As the size goes up, the size of the stroke goes up or the accuracy goes down. With a wheel, the physical size of the movement is the same, accuracy can be the same. Think video editing, long scrolls etc.

Looks satisfying. Doubt I'd buy it, but can see the appeal
