Does your family bug you to make sites for them? Muse is here to rescue you. Inspired by Bento & Gumroad, you can use AI and simple building blocks to make full-fledged websites & sell products in minutes. So easy, even Grandma can do it!
Hey all! 👋🏻
Dan Sutera here, Co-Founder of Muse. After years of hard work, we are thrilled to introduce our platform to the PH community and can't wait to hear your thoughts.
For years, I've been the defacto IT support guy for my family. They try to build websites on places like Wix & Squarespace and start with great templates, but pretty soon get stuck and call me to login & rebuild for them. These tools are easy for people like us, but still WAY too complicated for beginners. That was my inspiration for Muse.
We reimagined how pages could be built from the ground up. And over the last 3 years have taken inspiration from other great products that have launched like Bento & Carrd. Those tools let you build a simple Link in Bio or personal page, but with Muse you can do MUCH more-- full-fledged websites & e-Commerce.
We are quite proud of the end result-- a site builder & eCom platform so easy, even Grandma can use. We hope that you'll enjoy!
@dansutera Relieved to finally have the opportunity for an online art portfolio which isn’t utterly reliant on one’s social-media accounts, especially as those seem to become less user-oriented and ever-more opaque. That being said, it makes a huge difference that Muse does provide easy options to add links to those accounts! ;) As well, Muse’s free option is a great place to begin for those of us who haven’t updated their websites since Apple discontinued iWeb.
One question: how does Muse optimize one’s site in search engines and within certain apps?
Cheers and thank you!
Hey, Alex here!
In recent months we've spent a lot of time trying to improve the product. Since we know how hard it is for any creator to sell their content, this platform simplifies the process by allowing you to create a website in seconds, as well as have a portfolio of your services and products in just seconds. I think every creator can benefit from Muse.
We're eagerly awaiting your feedback on the product.
Being the de facto IT support guy becomes a headache if it extends beyond the family such as to relatives, friends and neighbors.
Promoting grandma like that will probably make grandpa anxious, so be careful😅
Good job, Dan and Team Muse!
Congrats on the launch! Love the idea of making website building truly beginner-friendly. So many “easy” tools still leave people stuck—Muse looks like a real solution.
Congratulations on the launch, Dan! 🚀 Muse sounds like a game-changer for simplifying website building and e-commerce, making it accessible even for beginners!
I've used this in beta and my girlfriend used it to set up a simple way to book her aerial acts. She's the most non technical human being alive haha. Amazing game changing product for a huge swath of folks!
Indeed, the frustration of "beginner-friendly" tools still being too complex is real, and if Muse simplifies that experience while offering full-fledged site-building and e-commerce, it could be a game-changer for a lot of people.
Great product, sending a lot of win to the team :)
Shopify dev for over 6 years and I feel you haha have been the defacto "build me a site" guy for my friends and family only to see them never use the sites I build for them just because they have no idea what to do and I simply don't have the time to be a full time manager of their site for them, will be sending them over to muse.io from now on haha
Muse is a breath of fresh air in the site-building space—perfect for anyone who finds other builders too complex. It reminds me of tools like Bento & Carrd, but with the added flexibility for full websites and e-commerce. I love the idea that even a beginner (or Grandma!) can launch a polished site. Excited to see how it evolves!
@kui_jason Hey Jason, yes I love both of those product. I feel like Bento prob would have gotten to full web pages if they hadn't gotten acquired. And Carrd is awesome too-- just doesn't have subpages yet. But we've def been inspired by these guys and their product work. In some ways an homage.
