@michael_heap Congratulations on the launch on Product Hunt! π It's really deep and cool! Do you think it could be used for sales process further, something like lead generation, prospecting?
@nat_ananchik Thanks! I don't have a good enough understanding of a sales process to really advise here sorry! But there are applications in most fields so imagine there are some ways it could help, maybe more on the querying/training people to understand quickly the best way to pitch to someone?

@michael_heap Just tried, and it has surprised me. I like the overall flow and your business model as well. You should start targeting various businesses. For example, my students will love to have a bot that can answer their subject-related queries when I am not available. For the international students management department, this can work as an auto-reply tool. and so on...! Keep up the good work.

We have loads of plans, such a long v2 list, including making it easier uploading content and more customisation but tbh right now we would just settle for OpenAI not being down so people could use it!

Based on the feedback from early adopters, have you observed common use case(s) which you may want to double down on?
@ed_forson Has been a super broad spread so far, company knowledge bases seem to be an obvious one people have brought up but will also be lots of competition in that space too

Congrats on your launch @michael_heap. I want to use AskAi with Twilio to create an SMS version of the chatbot. Is this possible?
@robbnotes So all paid plans give you API access, so while there isn't a native integration I assume you could do this? The API structure you can find in settings on your AskAI bot page!
As someone who doesn't have much experience in coding, I'm really glad to hear how easy it is to use AskAI. We've been thinking of updating our website's FAQ for a while, so I think this will be super helpful. Congrats on the launch! π
Very excited about products like this that make GPT more accessible to people like me who don't know anything about machine learning! Had a lovely time chatting with @michael_heap about the current capabilities and limitations of AskAI and their other offering in No Code AI model builder.
It was awesome seeing my company's site indexed right away and questions getting automatically suggested. I can only imagine how useful it would be if you already have lots of content (think docs pages or FAQ).

What is a "piece of content" is my entire 10 year gmail archive a piece? what about 8 years of LinkedIn correspondence, my entire twitter archive? would be clearer if you explain a bit more about how training data is used before signup is required.
@jaredzimmerman Hey Jared! It's a difficult one really technically it is all done in tokens but a lot of people don't get that so we have to try and find ways to make it relevant to people. So in our case 1 piece of content is one file or 1 URL that you upload, that piece of content could technically be all your Gmail archive or LinkedIn correspondence if you were to push it together! What would you like to know re: training data specifically?

@simon_s_j No worries at all, always open to flexing on things as demand does! Also you can be cheeky with the limits and shove more content into one upload if that works for your use case!

@michael_heap especially for the product with a lot of docs and tutorials like us! The search API sometimes cannot satisfy our users' needs

Hey, fellow AI-builders. We're also building off of GPT-3. Stuck with the request number limit before the launch. Openai does not answer. How do you figure out the limit before launch? @michael_heap
@anna_master Hey Anna! Not sure exactly what you mean sorry but should note that everyone on our tools uses their own OpenAI API key, so we don't get close to any limits in that regard?

Hello @michael_heap and team at AskAI, I just tried out the product and it shows a server error when uploading files; what could the problem be?
@samsonroyal yeah sorry about that, we perfectly timed our launch with a major system outage at OpenAI: https://status.openai.com/ as soon as they are back up it will work again!
Just created an AskAI model for Google Ads/ Google Analytics and GTM - AMAZING GUYS! I found that converting my 100 page PDF to DOCX and then uploading it to AskAi worked best. Very fast processing. Quick question for @michael_heap - do we need an OpenAI account with a payment method on file to use AskAI?
@scrittiwolf Thanks so much David, great to hear this and good tips! So you actually don't it will use your free credits on an OpenAI account, but once you used up your free balance then you will need a payment card on file to keep using it

@michael_heap I think there's an interesting consumer and business play. For example, Chat GPT is the only reason why Photoshop is even remotely usable to me now. Photoshop's UI is so terrible, I have to ask Chat for step by step instructions before I do anything (also, I'm a hobby user, not a power user, so I'm not going to take a course or something). I've had a similar experience of using Notion - all my questions go to Chat GPT, which is mostly okay but 20% of it's instructions are out of date since it isn't hooked up to the internet. If there was a way for companies to feed AI the best learning inputs it can to help its users, adoption for those products would increase for sure.
@kayladoan great ideas and exactly the sorts of things we would like it used for, also will be looking at integrating chatGPT when the public API comes out to make it more 'chatty' but with all the same info!
This is an interesting product! Askai seems to provide an intuitive and powerful platform for building AI-powered chatbots without requiring any coding experience. I like that it offers integrations with various messaging platforms, and the ability to analyze customer feedback and adjust responses accordingly.
This hooked me up hoping to reduce the number of customers calling us for help. We have a help center but we know that this is rarely used. It's easier to pick up the phone and call the customer service.
Just tried it by uploading a csv with 60 entries β¦ unfortunately it's loading forever (Doing AI magicβ¦) Is there an issue currently? No error or so β¦
