All your notes, bookmarks, inspiration, articles, and images in one single, private place, enhanced with artificial intelligence. mymind is for busy people. For those who move too fast to be bothered with folders, labels and systems.
@owenbossola Ahhh thank you Owen, means so much hearing this from you! Please say Hi to Hakim, loving all you do at Slides, very impressed with all you do and hoping to aim to be around as long and as consisently as you are! What you're doing is definitely an inspiration for us.
@ispekhov Totally agree! We're working on the new native app, the current one is still our web/native hybrid. It works, but it can be better! Thank you for the feedback!
@ryanfitz412 Hey Ryan, I think I replied on Twitter already but here as well just for the record. You're in the free trial (up to 100 saved cards) and we only ask for choosing a payment plan after.
I've been using My Mind for a little while now, and I really love it! The browser extension is perfect for capturing what I want to remember, and the AI does most of the work of tagging for me. Plus, the UI/UX is way ahead and most competitors I've tried.
@iambrakes Thank you so much Brett! This means a LOT and motivates us to keep improving and making it even better. I can promise, a lot more to come in the future!
I am using MyMind since the early beta. You will need to get some time to get used to. Once you figure out how to use, search and navigate your mind it is an amazing tool. I can highly recommend it. Furthermore, the customer service is just amazing. They listen to you, help with any problem. Each interaction is meaningful and personal.
@niklausgerber Thank you so much Niklaus! You've been with us through some up and downs and I want to let you know that both the team and myself really appreciate all your feedback, your support and continued belief in what we're doing. We're seeing some great improvements and I can't wait to share with you all the things we've been working on. Just getting started! And glad to have you <3
Good morning everyone!
I just woke up to the news of seeing this on ProductHunt, quite surprised myself as this wasn't planned at all (:
Thank you for 'hunting' our product called mymind and thank you for all the lovely comments I'm reading on here already.
mymind was born out of a personal need. My co-founder and I wanted an app that serves as an extension of our minds. A tool that picks up where our minds stop working.
I'm a believer in "organized" chaos and for me, other tools never worked because they forced me to come up with a structure and organize the things I put into it. Most tools I'm excited to use in the beginning, but then eventually the excitement fades as the tool becomes too cluttered and my system of organization too complex over time.
The idea with mymind is essentially the exact opposite of what you can find in other tools. The idea is to get out of the way and complement your already existing flow.
1. You save something with one click, no need to organize or think about where it should go.
2. If you want to find it again, you just search for it, your mind does the rest.
Honestly, there are so many things I could write about, and some of it we put already on our website, so I'll keep it short:
WHAT is mymind?
https://mymind.com/what
WHY did we create mymind?
https://mymind.com/why
HOW does it work?
https://mymind.com/how
Why is privacy so important to us? OUR PROMISE:
https://mymind.com/our-promise
And of course, our manifesto, which is what guides our principles:
https://mymind.com/manifesto
PS: And yes, we're a TINY team. We're bootstrapped and entirely self-funded. We are not planning on raising VC funding because we like to stay small, bootstrapped and focused on our values and members.
Our current focus is building out our native experiences (better iPhone, Android, iPad and Mac apps) as well as new core feature such as our Reading Mode.
PPS: We have a free trial, but once you hit the limit we ask you to support us by joining the Mastermind plan. We will be announcing new plans in the coming weeks to make our product more accessible (currently we only offer an annual plan, but email us for a monthly plan option).
THANK YOU!
Tobias & the mymind team
Hey @vanschneider 👋 glad you liked the surprise 😉 I saw that @thomasbergman hunted mymind but no maker was added to it. I went to Twitter and found you in no time. I love the website aesthetic, completely made by (https://www.semplice.com/).
Do you plan to add some templates so that new users have an organised roadmap to begin with?
@adityavsc Thank you for your kind words Aditya! Indeed, it was made with Semplice.com (: We love to build tools to then build our own tools, our own little universe. In regards to templates, can you elaborate on that a bit more? You mean for mymind? We're definitely having plans on improving our onboarding, but since mymind can be used in a thousand different ways, and everyone is different, we most likely won't have templates since it's not comparable to other services where that would make sense (assuming you mean templates similar to what Notion or Airtable offers).
@debadyuti_roychowdhury Hey DRC! I'm not too familiar with the Zettelkasten method but I know many who've mentioned it who are also using mymind. I assume the core feature that you're missing would be bi-directional linking between cards? In regards to PDFs and Google Docs, I'm not sure what you mean, would you mind to elaborate?
@orhankurulan Hey Orhan! On our list and will come! We somehow ended up launching with just Google and Apple sign in to make it easier, and then got caught up in other features and fixes and never shipped our own, just email login. If it makes you feel better, we do NOT share any information neither with Google or Apple. In fact, if you use Apple, you're even more anonymous in our system since you can hide your email. But I can promise, we will be adding our own email system to it (we just want to make it easy and passwordless, similar to what we have now)
@francescod_ales Thank you Francesco! We have a lot planned and have been shipping quite consistently across the board. Our current focus is on making sure we're shipping better native apps and focusing on some core use cases such as note taking and reading (think of a nice reading mode) — Give it a few more months and you should see even more changes in the product.
I've been using this for close to a year and nothing comes close. I tried using Raindrop (which is still awesome), but mymind is just so easy and visually amazing to use. I love the color palettes it generates from images and how quick it is to search.
@vanschneider and co. have built an incredible product. I've been using mymind for over a year and it is the best way to collect information and inspiration and not stress about how it is organized. Their attention to detail and care for the features is superb.
@jdsimcoe Thank you so much Jonathan! I know you've been through ups and downs with us and it means a lot to us. You've helped us shape the product and it's been becoming better because of it. Looking forward to show you all things we have in store for the coming months, I think you will enjoy it! THANK YOU for supporting us! From me and the team!
I've been using this for about a year, and it's incredible! A place for thoughts and notes and inspiration without any need to consider curation for an audience. Which means it's not just for looks, but actually useful to me. The browser extension makes it easy to add things. AI automatically tags content so you can easily search for it later without having to remember exactly what it was called or titled. Plus it just looks amazing! Big props to @vanschneider and the MyMind team!
@inthegoodhood Ahhhh thank you so much Jennifer, you have no idea much much I enjoyed reading your comment here. Especially hearing this come from you means a lot, as I'm enjoying all the things coming out of Hoodzpah! Hoping to keep building mymind into a tool that will be even more helpful to you in the future, always here to hear your feedback too! <3
@kpyto You could put it that way, just with a loooot more. Someone even compared it to a private Google. I think there are many ways to look at it, also depending on how you will end up using it. Chances are that you use it very differently to me, and that's a great thing!
I've been using this product for quite a while now and it has finally giving me peace of mind knowing that all the things I'd like to remember, will actually stay there, and just for me. No social no nothing. It's great and I hope it stays around for a very long time. Tobias and his team are nailing it.
@jonnotie Ahh thank you so much Jonno! Long time supporter, and you know how much I appreciate you for it! Apprecaite all the feedback you've given over the last couple months as well, the product is improving because of it! THANK YOU!
