@vanschneider Wrote a review. Good call on that. Love the changes. I do miss dark mode without having to reflect it across the whole system. But that’s a small nit.

Congratulation, for launching on product hunt. I'm still not sure what you launched here today as the 3.0 app update you're talking about is it two months old now!
Anyway, I am a big fan of mymind and I like that the things I already liked is improved and that it is much smoother to interact with the app. Unfortunately, the issues it had before still persist and never get solved. I've contacted Support so many times, and they have tried to work with me, but unfortunately, it looks like you guys will never be able to figure out how to work with the TikTok, Instagram, Amazon links, or some of the website links. They appear as a webpage instead of product or video snippet. In the past, I have been given the excuse that it is really hard to work with different websites and bla bla bla...but I've seen other apps like Cosmos do amazing job at the similar links so there must be something Mymind team is missing here, and I hope mymind team fixes this issue as seeing a weird website with pop-ups instead of just a simple video link, creates a big mass in the Mymind board. Serendipity is my favourite feature.

For me, it replaced Evernote as well as my read-it-later app.

@michael_bladowski Hey Micha! There is no API right now because we're entirely focused on privacy and an API would go against this principle because your data can flow into other apps where we can't promise the full privacy of it. This all might change in the future if we find a good way on how to introduce an API, but for now, this is not on the horizon (you can however export your mind at any time of course).

This sounds such a great app and a welcome alternative to Evernote. You also have an Android version!
When it comes to browser extensions, are there any plans to support Firefox?
@bearoon Thank you Taras! Do give it a try if you can. It's very different compared to Evernote, but we had many people switching over from that app. Sadly we do not support Firefox anymore, we used to, but Firefox kept denying us in their app store, and FF numbers have declined steadily over the years, which is why we dropped support for now. We might bring it back in the future, but that depends on Firefox and not on us (they basically didn't allow us in their extension store).

One of those apps that I use on a daily basis. The developers philosophy towards the product is something that resonates with me.
I love this app! It's one of the best in the niche. The only factor that kept it from being in my stack was the pricing. This tool simplifies life, but it essentially does what other alternatives do for a lower cost (or sometimes for free). I don't want to pay more for it than I pay for professional applications that help me generate income. Nonetheless, the product is excellent—congratulations on the launch!
@dmytro_shvydkyi Hey Dmytro, mymind has a free plan now! You'll have all the core features of mymind, just with a smaller saving limit. The generating income part just depends how you use it :D

Sure thing It's a jungle out there with so many alternatives. But then you've got places like Mymind, flying under the radar without the big VC bucks and actually respecting your privacy. They're not stalking your every click to pump up their numbers for a big M&A sell-off. It's pretty cool and kind of rare, so yeah, they definitely deserve a monetary thumbs up from us.

@vanschneider Donwloaded yesterday and already loving it! I really feel that calming sensation the app promises, few features and clean visuals, can't wait to unlock the serendipity feature to see what the embedded AI will create from the things cooking in my space. Hope it'll help me structure the info in my mind so I can cut through the noise. Thank you so much guys, this is a beautiful app!

The longer you use mymind the better it gets, can't wait to hear from you in a couple months or in a year :) Especially some features such as Search, Serendipity and Same Vibe are all getting better and better the more/longer and the more intentionally you use the tool. If this app ever shuts down it will take me many months to recover. And that's why I love it.
