I've been an entrepreneur for many years and when Custom GPTs came out I wanted to train it on one of my product's source codes.
Unfortunately, it only allowed me to upload a few files (if at all) making it not fully grasp my product, so when I saw the Assistants API I jumped straight on it and built a user interface I could use to easily create Assistants (Chatbots), upload files to them and have them do all the heavy lifting for me.

I’ve had a similar issue with my code where I wanted to train it based on what o fed it and hit the exact same brick wall!

I know right, I was hyped for the Custom GPT's and so disappointed about the limits.
MyChatcots.AI can certainly help you overcome those, and -imo- gives you more control and freedom over your conversations!

Nice idea. But there's a bit of a problem accessing Lifetime plans. Can't get access. Just keeps looping round to the login/register form.

First impressions. I'm running some tests on the service right now, and first impressions are very good. The interface is clear and easy to understand, especially for beginners who may not be familiar with AI processes etc. It's early days, so the feature set will no doubt expand as the API features are added (for instance it would be nice to have a clearer choice of LLMs to access) but the ability to upload docs and start working with them in minutes is a huge win. I do wish however that .odt files were supported. Finally a shout out on the tech support side. Aron seems to be running a tight ship, with very impressive support question response times. Good to know.
