Congrats on the launch, 250,000 visuals in just seven months is quite impressive. One thing I'm curious about - with the new data upload features (CSV, images), can MyLens AI handle a mix of data types in a single project? For example, could I upload a screenshot with some key points and then add some relevant data points from a CSV to create a more comprehensive visual?
Thanks @ellen_yang2 for your question. Currently, you can upload one file for each visual in MyLens. However, we are actively working on enhancing this functionality to support multiple data types in a single visual. This feature is on our roadmap.

Importantly, we do not use users data to train our AI models or share it with anyone. We follow strict practices to protect our users' data.

Seven months ago, we launched MyLens AI with a simple idea: making beautiful timelines of historical events with just one click. We didn't expect such a huge response, but over 50,000 users joined us, and together, we created more than 250,000 visuals! 🎉

From our first day on Product Hunt, your feedback has been our guide. We realized that while timelines were powerful, our users wanted more ways to visualize complex information. That's why we added three new types of visuals: mindmaps, quadrants, and tables. Each new visual was designed to break down complexity and present it in an accessible, clear format.
🧩 Simplifying Complexity
Our team’s background in data science and visualization has always driven our mission. Initially, we focused on making it easy to create timelines. But as we engaged with our community, we saw a bigger opportunity. We wanted MyLens to be more than just a timeline creator. We envisioned an AI that could analyze and present information visually, no matter how complex.

In our discussions with users, we learned that more than 85% of business data is unstructured and qualitative, making it difficult to analyze. Many of you face challenges with messy data like customer feedback, emails, PDF reports, and IT logs. These types of unstructured data are often so complex that people give up on extracting insights and end up making gut decisions instead.

We wanted to help users make sense of this chaotic data. Initially, we allowed users to upload images, such as screenshots of PDFs or web pages. This was our first step in seeing if our AI could handle real-world complexity.
